I'm curious if there are any examples of subclasses modifying the HD or maximum HP of the parent class in any way. Does anyone know of any? I'm looking for any established conventions on the best way to handle this through homebrew content. Thanks!

As magic flows through your body, it causes physical traits of your dragon ancestors to emerge. At 1st level, your hit point maximum increases by 1 and increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.
