I am working on a feature for another Artificer subclass and got curious: Would having fewer spells (and/or other features) but being able to choose them freely be a compelling choice for you over a static expanded spell list?

I prefer quality over quantity, personally. If I have more ways to build out & customize my character, I'd do it.
