Hi, I'm trying to make a homebrew subclass for a sorcerer based on the clockwork soul subclass called Gamblers Fallacy. Basically it's going to be a charismatic gambling based sorcerer that uses cards, dice, dominoes, and tarot cards as his arcane focus. I've got most of it set up (most of it was changing the clockwork soul subclass text for flavor) but i would also like to add a +2 to the charisma score and give advantage on slight of hand, mostly due to the backstory of the character this is for. I've tried working with the class modifiers but it doesn't seem to want to work as the changes don't reflect on the character page. Any advice/help?
Yeah, if you already have homebrew on a character and then modify it, it can take up to 20 minutes to update on the character; sometimes you can short circuit the process by changing the character's level (especially if the feature you've updated is a higher level and you drop below it then back again, as the feature will be lost and then re-applied).

I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.

Seems to have resolved itself.
Huh, so it would seem. Guess there's a bit of a delay in updating on the character sheet.

It's a base-level bonus from the subclass. But that is good to know for the future.
