So, I'm pretty new to 5th edition (played a lot of 4th, 3.0, 3.5, and advanced 2e) and my favorite campaign setting is still 2e planescape. Lot of fun memories of those games. Two full campaigns worth, one was an advanced 2e game and one was converted by our GM to 3rd edition.
Well, I'm still new to 5th ed, and I may CERTAINLY get some stuff wrong, but I thought I might take a stab at converting some of the material to 5th ed.
Most of it stands as is. You can just copy-paste a lot of the lore from 2nd ed to 5th ed. I know some of the planes have changed around, and I have ideas of how to get them to work all correctly, but I thought I'd start off with a simple one . . . and in case I don't get further, it is useful outside of Planescape.
So I made a small google doc about Clerics without gods, which was quite a common theme in Planescape. It's still in the early stages, and if you have feedback I'd appreciate any calm, well-reasoned arguments that are presented nicely. It's still an alpha-build of a document and I typed it up in only two hours, so I fully expect there to be mistakes, but I thought it would be of use/interest to some. If not, let me know.
Sorry, I know this is a year old, but I've been looking for a 5e campaign featuring many celestials or at least the upper plains. I think I've found it, loll.
