Sometimes it can take a while for the character sheet to update to changes you've made to homebrew already added to a character; you may be able to short-circuit the update by removing the item and re-adding.
I've found this is often necessary for items and feats in particular (that they can remain stuck in their old form for well over the 20 minutes that's usually required for an automatic update, but removing and re-adding usually fixes them).

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.

I created a Legendary Magic Weapon but the color of the item shows up purple and not orange. Am I missing something?
Was it previously set to Very Rare?
