I've already had a magic item approved but I've made some changes to it since then and I'm not sure how to replace it on this site so that ppl can still continue to look at it and provide feedback, without having 2 different versions of the same item displayed for public viewing. Please help! :D
If I am not mistaken, if you use the "Make a new version" button in the item description, you can create a new version of it that will go to replace the first one.

The new one replacing the old one is not how I understand it to work.
But I hope you're right and I'm wrong. I like that idea a lot better than having two published versions out there.
I had created two versions of the Chromatic magic weapon, and only the latest one can be found, both in my own created homebrews and in the homebrew items listing.
It might be worth noting that until the new version is approved, though, you will still see it at two separate items in your own created homebrews.
