I made a warlock subclass, I love it, it is what I want it to be, but it might have gotten out of hand... Could you please have a look and tell me your opinion? I prefer polite opinions, even if they are harsh. https://dnd-world.com/phaerimm-warlock-subclass/
I rather feel envigorated with the CC with attribution thing, and I think that if WotC does not do their needed customer retention thing, kobolds or orcs will come in and keep 5e alive under their leadership. All in all a good result!
Oops, I almost forgot, they need to make up with the employees too. Normal to high pay is warranted, and a totally different corporate culture, inclusive to start, and kind of course.
(I canceled my Master subscription after 3 annual payments. If WotC makes luxurious amends, I will renew, otherwise, maybe the DNDBeyond devs can get my money in a side-gig of theirs?)
I believe that Warlock subclasses do not get expanded spells past 5th level. If you want to include that it’s fine but that then becomes a homebrew mechanic which may be overpowered.
Expanded spell lists are generally not available to Warlocks beyond 5th level spells. Adding more isn't too OP since warlocks just get to only pick the same number of spells but from the expanded list. However, I'm not sure what the "theme" of the expanded spell list is? They seem to be just generic arcane spells.
"the spell backfires and instead you gain temporary hit points equal to your warlock level."
This is somewhat OP and doesn't make a ton of sense, shouldn't they get 1d10+CHA temporary hit points if it is the EB backfiring?
Arcane Amplification
Your connection to the Phaerimm has grown stronger, allowing you to enhance your spells. When you cast an instantaneous damage dealing spell using a spell slot, you can choose to expend an additional spell slot (of the same level or higher). If you do, you automatically use the highest damage roll result possible (a 3d6 is automatically 18). You may use this again only once every day.
This is fine in concept but needs rewording (in red), but I'm not sure it is a particularly good feature for a warlock. For most of their career a warlock will only have 2 spell slots so spending both of them on one spell, when they don't get many good damage spells anyway, doesn't seem like a very effective thing to do.
Eldritch Overload
You have learned to channel your Patron’s raw power, allowing you to unleash a devastating attack. As an action, you can unleash a wave of arcane force that deals 10d10 force damage to creatures within a 50-foot radius (CON save for no damage). After Overloading, you gain 1 Level of Exhaustion. You must take a long rest before you can use this power again.
This is powerful, but also difficult to use since you will very likely hit your allies as well as the enemies and they are very unlikely to have any defense against it.
Upcasting Mastery
Your mastery of the Phaerimm’s power has reached its peak. When you cast a spell 1st to 5th level spell (using a Warlock spell slot) you can upcast it at 7th level (instead of 5th). If you do, the spell is cast as though it was cast using a 9th-level spell slot.
This one doesn't make sense?? is it upcast to 7th level or to 9th level? This is also extremely powerful with the right spells, Warlock spells tend to upcast pretty well.

I also made a new species (with 2 subspecies), but I think that is balanced and fun, nothing to worry about. https://dnd-world.com/pigletarians-hidden-species/
