I am trying to figure out if its possible to create an item that allows spellcasting, but not just at will or charged base.
Id like the item to grant the ability to cast say a cantrip and maybe 1 or 2 1st level spells... but use up available spell slots instead of charges.
Thus far it seems impossible, but i wanted to see if anyone has ever tried it.
I understand the user could just check off a spell slot once they use the item... but it would be cool if the interface would work with me.
