I created a new race called Zahrami, they are an anthromorphic toadlike race with a middle-eastern inspired culture. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this (I also added two subraces, Oasis and Sand Dune Zahrami).
Ok - here's a thing: Why are your amphbious toads desert dwellers. You mention that they are - but then go on to mention webbed feet, water breathing, and so on. What are your toad guys doing in the driest of dry places?
Other than that, they sound cool. But I'd have made them jackals, or some such.
Or changed the deserts. There are deserts on earth that have seasonal rains, that flourish with flowers and life for a few months to then dry up for the rest of the year. These places have, among other miracles of nature, frogs that hibernate, digging into the mud when the lakes and rivers dry up, and surviving there until the next rainfall.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
