Hello everybody, I know Laserllama's content is mostly balanced, he does a great job. However, I want to use the barbarian path of the packleader in my next campaign (https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-M0dBqq372X_oBPUT4vP), and I think some features could be unbalanced:
-Shared Rage lets your companion also gain the benefits of rage. Damage resistances could make the companion probably a bit too tanky.
-Pack Tactics gives barbarian and beast automatically advantage on every attack they make if they are within 5 ft. of the same creature (which they are attacking). This could make Reckless Attack useless, I think, and the barbarian will even be more tanky, as attacks against him won't have advantage. The beast doesn't attack with a very high to hit (2 + proficiency bonus), so probably no issues there.
-Primal Howl doesn't specify if it takes an action. Is it used when you enter your rage?
What do you think? Is it strong, too strong, just fine, weak, or too weak, why and how to solve this?
