For context, my DM told me that i can use 32 points and use a max of 18 of ability scores, but i wonder how can i make it work, how much points should it cost between 16 and 18 points?
You'd have to ask your DM. There aren't any official guidelines for using point buy to get base stats above 15

Your DM did not say that your point cost is different, only that your total points given is different. So the Point Buy system is the same.
