Is there a tutorial somewhere where someone has added Expanded Spell Lists for subclasses? I am entering a priviate entry for the UA Raven Queen content and I wanted to make access to the Epanded Spell list but I cannot get it to add at the right level.
Generally when I add spells from a subclass, I do it from the "Additional Specific Spells" form on the "Basic Information" tab, not from the subclass feature itself. The spell should automatically be added at the appropriate level.
I'm playing in a campaign where the DM has decided that the only way to gain magical abilities is through a pact with supernatural beings - so only the Warlock class. He's said that subclasses which allow casting are fine, but they have to cast like a warlock (restricted to warlock spell list, CHA based only). I'm in the process of homebrewing the Arcane Trickster subclass (Eldritch Trickster) but I want to do it such that when you select Eldritch Trickster you have to select a Patron in the same way that a Warlock does...then based on that selection, you get an expanded spell list that matches the expanded spell list granted to that patron in the Warlock class.
So: Rogue -> Eldritch Trickster -> Patron -> Expanded Spell List
But so far the only place I'm seeing where you can add an expanded spell list is in the initial creation of the subclass itself. If I try to add spells in the "Patron" option, instead of just gaining the ability to select particular spells, the player gets a dropdown menu where they choose one of the spells that I wanted to simply be an additional option (hope that made sense).
Am I missing something here, or do I have to handle this by creating a subclass for each patron, then add the expanded spell list there?

That worked! Thank you so much!
Hey, so following up on this:
