I am running a semi-homebrew game. The events are wrote to be what happens if the party failed to stop Tiamat in Tyranny of Dragons. One of my players wants a homebrew Warlock subclass for being packed to Bahamut.
I am having extreme difficulty getting homebrew to work and am looking for someone to help me input it into D&D Beyond for him. Feel free to give input on adjusting it for balance as well.
Thank you in advance!
The Platinum Pact (Warlock Patron: Bahamut)
Your pact with Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon, grants you powers that reflect his mercy, justice, and draconic might. As his emissary, you wield powers inspired by dragons, protecting allies and striking down evil.
Expanded Spell List
The Platinum Pact grants access to spells that reflect Bahamut’s draconic nature and divine influence. These spells are always prepared and don’t count against the spells you can prepare as a warlock.
1st Level: Cure Wounds, Absorb Elements 2nd Level: Dragon’s Breath, Prayer of Healing 3rd Level: Ashardalon’s Stride, Beacon of Hope 4th Level: Fizban’s Platinum Shield, Guardian of Faith 5th Level: Holy Weapon, Wall of Light
---
Level 1: Bahamut's Mercy
Starting at 1st level, Bahamut’s divine influence grants you the ability to heal. You gain a pool of healing power, called Mercy Points, equal to your Charisma modifier + your warlock level. As a bonus action, you can touch a creature and restore a number of hit points from this pool (minimum of 1). This pool replenishes when you complete a long rest.
Additionally, you gain the ability to change the damage type of Eldritch Blast. When you cast Eldritch Blast, you can choose to deal acid, fire, cold, lightning, or poison damage, matching your chosen resistance from the Platinum Scales feature. This can be changed whenever you change your resistance.
---
Level 3: Platinum Scales
Starting at 3rd level, Bahamut’s protective power surrounds you. While you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. You can still use a shield and gain this benefit.
You also gain Resistance to a damage type of your choice: acid, fire, cold, lightning, or poison. You can change this resistance when you finish a long rest, channeling Bahamut’s adaptability.
---
Level 6: Draconic Strike
At 6th level, Bahamut grants you the following draconic abilities:
Breath Weapon: As an action, you can exhale destructive energy in a 15-foot cone. This increases to a 30-foot cone at level 10. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. On a failure, they take damage equal to your Charisma modifier + half your warlock level, of a type chosen from your Resistance option (acid, fire, cold, lightning, or poison). This ability recharges on a short or long rest.
Natural Weapons: Your claws become powerful natural weapons, allowing you to make unarmed strikes that deal 1d6 slashing damage + your Charisma modifier.
---
Level 10: Platinum Fury
At 10th level, Bahamut’s power enables your Eldritch Blast and Breath Weapon to strike through magical defenses. When you cast Eldritch Blast or use your Breath Weapon, they ignore resistances to the chosen damage type. Additionally, creatures that are normally immune to that damage type instead treat it as if they have resistance to the damage.
---
Level 10: Aura of Platinum Dragonfear
At 10th level, Bahamut grants you the power to invoke dragon-like terror. As an action, you can emit a 30-foot aura of fear around you. Each creature of your choice within the aura must make a Wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC or become frightened of you for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. You can use this ability once per long rest.
---
Level 14: Wings of the Platinum Dragon
At 14th level, you manifest spectral wings that grant you a flying speed of 30 feet. You can summon or dismiss these wings as a bonus action.
Additionally, while your wings are active, you can use an action to cast Mass Cure Wounds, Globe of Invulnerability, or Greater Restoration once without expending a spell slot, symbolizing Bahamut’s mercy. You regain this use after a long rest.

Man this a awesome Bahumat warlock subclass. I personally think it's pretty balanced and a great alternative to hexblades.
