I haven’t had the chance to playtest this yet since I’m currently playing a cleric in the campaign I'm participating in. Our party doesn’t include any Bards, Sorcerers, Warlocks, or Wizards either 😅. However, I believe it’s ready for playtesting as soon as I get the chance. What do you all think?
True Strike: 3rd level divination
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Target: A target in range
Components: S
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
Classes: Bard, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard
Effect: You point at a target within range. Until the spell ends, your first attack roll against the target on each of your turns has advantage, and if the attack hits, it is a critical hit.
Casting at higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher the following effects apply (stacking).
4th Level: Range increases to 300 feet.
5th Level: Casting time becomes 1 bonus action.
6th Level: Duration of 1 minute (non-concentration).
7th Level: Other creatures within 30 feet of you who attack the target also score critical damage on a hit.
That seems pretty broken. I have a build idea that would become absolutely insane with this. (paladin warlock bard and maybe fighter using true strike and smites)

"Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are to fast: I would catch it."
"I cannot comment on an ongoing investigation."
"Well of course I know that. What else is there? A kitten?"
"You'd like to think that, Wouldn't you?"
"A duck."
"What do you mean? An African or European swallow?"

You’re absolutely right—there’s too much synergy (in a bad way) with the Paladin’s smite. I’m thinking of adjusting the spell’s base level, maybe bumping it up to a 4th- or 5th-level divination spell. I might drop upcast effect of "6th level: Duration of 1 minute (non-concentration) as well. Thankyou for pointing this out!
