You're not missing anything; D&D Beyond's homebrew system does not have support for this. People have been asking for it for years, but so far, nothing.
Make it as a feat. You can add as many feats to your character as you want. Just remind the player not to select all of their allotted, Eldritch invocations (if they want to be fair about it)
I've been piddling with the homebrew stuff and I'm not seeing Elderitch Invocations as a homebrewable option. Am I missing something?

I think this is what I'll have to do, just choose "Lessons of the Old ones" and choose the feat I want. Thank you!!
That's actually a good way to do it, but I don't know if you can make the feat an Origin feat. The Invocation doesn't give access to general feats.
