I have an idea for campaign where a group of adventures are thrown together after a shipwreck. They have no/limited resources and must battle through a jungle Labyrinth to reach civilization.
I have created a full Labyrinth map for the campaign but I have a dilemma that I would like some advice with.
Is the survival of the group and battling through the maze (which the group will have to map out themselves) enough of a story. Or should I have another story for them to follow?
The Maze is large and has layers to it (caves, an underdark magical portals etc) but I'm scared of my group becoming bored.
I have considered making this the start of a much bigger campaign.
Well, it really depends on your players. Sometimes players wanna be very story heavy, some people are happy just following a basic story. What I do with my players is ask for feedback after every game. If they don't have anything to say, your doing good
