My DM gave me a spell book that has the following description:
"+3 Bonus to Spell Attack Rolls, and +3 Bonus to Spell Save DCs. The damage inflicted by spells increases by an additional damage die."
I was easily able to do the +3 to Attack Rolls and Spell Saves, but I am struggling trying to come up with a way to represent the additional damage die. I found Damage - Wizard Spell Attacks, but I can only put in a static dice here. I was wondering if there might be a way to make an item add one extra dice or treat a spell as "one level higher" for the slot it's used in.
