I'm very new to DM'ing, even more so at trying to create my own campaign. I have my overall setting picked out but am having trouble picking out what kind of BBEG would be best for my premise of how the campaign is going to unfold. Eberron is my setting, and my campaign premise is that there are rumors floating throughout Khorvaire that someone means to keep The Last War to continue. If anyone has any advice on where to continue with that, I would greatly appreciate it. If you prefer to respond here, that is fine. I will do my best to respond back. Otherwise, hit up my discord. Who would want to restart the Last War? Maybe an ArchDevil or a Demon Lord. Alternatively, a God of War or a God of Chaos might want it. Or if you want to get a little bit political a rich arms-manufacturer might want it.
