Blood Hunter (Order of the Lycan) who will be at 12th level soon and I was thinking of giving him this:
Ring of Blood Fury This ring is made of ornately twisted black iron, inset with a large blood-red ruby. When it is worn by anyone for the first time, the wearer takes one point of necrotic damage as the ring "samples" it's wearer's blood.
The ring has 3 charges, which reset at midnight. The wearer can expend charges as desired:
1 charge - on a successful weapon attack or unarmed strike, the wearer gains temporary hit points equal to half of the damage done, rounded up.
2 charges - for one hour, the wearer gains temporary hit points equal to all necrotic damage done by successful weapons attacks or unarmed strikes.
It's cool, but the two abilities do basically the same thing, so it seems kind of redundant and unnecessarilty complicated. I'd suggest removing the charges and just give it the second 2-charge ability but have it be activated only once, regaining the use of it when the moon rises.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, and I especially like the "when the moon rises" bit...
