Im trying to make my version of the Banneret and it says I can't publish it because of subclass level requirements. The only thing thats crazy different is I added a new feature starting at level 3. I tried deleting that, after which I save on the ability page then the subclass page, and still no change. I didnt remove anything and it clearly has subclass abilities at levels 3, 7, 10, 15, and 18. Not sure what to look for.
For some time there has been a bug with this where it seems to expect there to be a level 1 feature in addition to the correct ones. Try adding a dummy level 1 feature and see if that helps.
It's also worth pointing out, since this is a thing a lot of people miss, that you only need to publish it if you want strangers to be able to use it. You and anyone in your campaigns can still use it even if it's not published.
Oh yeah I know, and not saying it's anything special but I like it more than the bad Banneret. So I'm hoping others will too and use it at their tables because thematically I was excited for this subclass. But thank you I will try that!
