I'm playing a drow ranger and want to subclass gloomstalker. I have the physical books and don't want to buy them again, so I'm trying to homebrew the gloomstalker. Everything went well, except for adding the spells. I can't get the spells to auto-prepare, and if I try and prepare them manually they count as known. How can I make them appear like my elven lineage spells, which are always prepared regardless of my other actions?
This has been happening since the latest update . Any homebrew subclass that gives a spellcasting feature will no longer allow you to add spells. I straight up copied the Arcane Trickster subclass and there is no way to prepare new spells . Hopefully they fix this soon because it’s a serious bummer.

I actually seem to have gotten mine to work! I had to decrease the level requirement for the spell to be added, but once I did it worked fine.
