Ok this is way simpler than my Brawl Tournament idea and it won't take forever to play during a session.
Pyramids of Fate
Buy-In Each round costs 1 sp to play.
How to Play
The player pays 1 sp and accepts the challenge.
The player chooses who will hold Fate: Take Control – the player holds Fate and makes the prediction. Let Fate Decide – the NPC holds Fate and makes the prediction.
The Fate holder predicts one of the following: Higher Lower Same
Both the player and the NPC roll one d4 simultaneously.
Compare the Fate holder's die to the other die:
Higher – the Fate holder's die is higher. Lower – the Fate holder's die is lower. Same – both dice show the same number.
If the prediction is correct, the Fate holder wins the round. If the prediction is incorrect, the Fate holder loses the round.
Payouts Loss: The player loses their 1 sp buy-in. Normal Win: The player receives their 1 sp buy-in back and 1 sp in winnings (2 sp total returned). Player Fate Bonus: If the player holds Fate and correctly predicts Same, they receive their 1 sp buy-in back, 1 sp in winnings, and an additional 1 sp bonus (3 sp total returned). Fate's Favor: If the NPC holds Fate, the dice result is Same, and the NPC did not predict Same, the NPC loses the round. The player receives their 1 sp buy-in back, 1 sp in winnings, and an additional 1 sp bonus (3 sp total returned). NPCs never receive a bonus for predicting Same.
Buy-In Each player contributes 1 cp to the pot (2 cp total).
How to Play
Both players contribute 1 cp and accept the challenge.
Roll a d4. Whoever rolls higher chooses who holds Fate. Roll again to break ties.

Payouts Loss: The losing player forfeits their 1 cp contribution. Normal Win: The winning player receives the 2 cp pot. Same Bonus: Whenever the dice result is Same: If the Fate holder predicted Same, the Fate holder wins the round and receives an additional 1 cp bonus (3 cp total). If the Fate holder predicted Higher or Lower, the Fate holder automatically loses the round and pays an additional 1 cp penalty (3 cp total to the winner).
