Hey there everyone, I am currently working on a set of stone/mountain themed subclasses and here is one of them. Tell me what you think, especially for the last ability, as I am not quite sure if it is broken or useless.
The Stone Guardians were a noble order sworn to protect the environment from greedy miners and diggers, that would destroy the great landscape and hurt the mountain sides. Now the order only exists in descendents from the old Stone Guardians still wandering through the land, protecting the landscape, without any greater organisation. The isolation of these last Stone Guardians has made them whimsical and strange. They invented whole new ways to use weapons, bonking enemies on the head with Greatswords and hitting them in the chest with Clubs. But even more noticeably, they started to consume multiple kinds of stones. If you meet one they will tell you, it´s a healthy diet, but it is not. The consumption of stones has had interesting effects on these protectors, even changing their skin to losely resemble the surface of the mountain ranges they protect.
Level 3: Crystal Skin When raging, the consumed stones grow strong crystals that even burst through the skin of the Stone Guardians. When hit by a melee attack while in Rage and while not wearing armor, the attacker takes damage equal to a roll of 1d6. The damage increases to 1d8 at Level 6, 1d10 at Level 10 and 1d12 at Level 14.
Level 3: Unconventional Weapon Usage When making an attack with a weapon you have mastery with, you can replace that weapons mastery ability either with the Push or Topple ability just fot this attack. Additionally the range you can push enemies with the Push mastery increases to 15ft. and the save DC for saving throws made against being toppled is increased by 2.
Level 6: Geodurance The stones inside your body greatly increase your regenerative abilites due to their self regenerating nature, especially when calm or calming down. As a Bonus action, you can consume one charge of your Rage without entering Rage to regain Hit Points. To deterimine the amount of Hit Points regained, roll a number of D8 equal to your Rage Damage bonus, and add them together. If you were not in Rage while doing this, you regain additional Hit Points equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Level 10: Feel the Stone Its not totally clear wether the Stone Guardians live in the mountains or their consumption of stones has heightened their knowledge and connection to the stones, but it is hightened. While in Rage and touching a stone surface you gain Tremmorsense within a range of 60 ft.
Level 14: One with the Stone Your skin has now become almost indistinguishable from stone. While standing at most 3 ft. away from a stone surface, which is at least as big as you, you gain the invisible condition. You even stay invisible while attacking or moving, as long as you never move further away than 3 ft. from that stone surface.
