You know how in Original D&D Men & Magic the Non-Human races appear also to be their own classes as well? Elves were a mix of Wizard and Fighter, and Dwarves were just Fighters but with special stats and unique abilities. How would one emulate the Elf of Oe in 5e? I'd imagine it might look a lot like the Eldritch Knight subclass.

Perhaps that is where inspiration for the bladesinger wizard came from.
