Hey everyone, I'm working on a sorcerer subclass right now, and I am having a hard time figuring out how exactly to add a feature that adds the charisma modifier of the sorcerer to any cold damage spells cast. Is there no way to have it automatically added to cold spells, including cantrips like ray of frost or frostbite? Is it selective? I'm not really sure how to make it function properly for all instances of cold damage by spell.
Well that is a bit of a bummer. You'd think with other similar features this would be a no-brainer as far as a valuable inclusion is concerned. Thanks very much for the reply.
It's a bit of a complicated modifier since many spells do multiple types of damage or do damage as a secondary effect, not the primary focus and may only have the damage listed in description, not in quick info.

There isn't a modifier for that. Or really anything close. Closest only does cleric cantrips.
You'll have to just explain the ability and trust the players to keep track.
