I am creating a homebrew compendium, which is heavly inspired by the artwork of Thiago Lehmann's "Bug World". It is basically an insect-themed compendium for 5e, containing new races, classes, backgrounds, monsters, and everything else that might come to mind. Eventually, I'd also like to add a custom setting.
Since real life is pretty busy I can't work on it as much as I'd like, that's why I'm looking for people that want to contribute to this passion project. I am especially looking for people who I can discuss different ideas with and who could contribute creative and mechanical ideas and knowledge. I can't offer much more than mentioning you in the credits and a creative outlet, but the tiniest suggestion would already help a bunch.
Hello fellow stranger of the internet, I have been inspired by your works with the compendium and have been prepping a high fantasy world for my players to have many a great adventure in. I have only started recently, but I have already made 2 lore documents about my world. I tried to stay true to the compendium, but as it is limited, I had to fill in a lot of blanks. I have been inspired by the world tree cosmology as well as dystopian worlds when writing my lore. I stole some ideas from media I read and watched. For example: a setup that makes game of thrones 'winter is coming' scenarios possible, as well as some influences from made in abyss (the great chasm, artefacts).
I made these documents on gmbinder to make them look professional. The links:
