Im making a homebrew rogue called the mage hunter and at level 9 they gain this feat
Starting at 9th level you gain the ability to use your knowledge of the arcane to unweave the magics of your enemies. You can cast the counter spell or dispel magic spells.
Your spell casting ability for these spells is intelligence.
the spell slot level used to cast these spells is considered to be 1/3 of your rouge level rounded down.
this ability can be used a number of times equal to 1+ your intelligence modifier.
you regain all uses of this ability upon completion of a long rest.
the problem im having is when i go to add the spell to the feature. if i add the two spells separately they dont share the number of uses like they should. and if i put them in the same feature, one of the spells does not show up on the list for some reason. im not sure why they give me the option to add multiple spells to same feature if only one shows up...
I tried testing on my own to help come up with a solution and I don't think there is a way to directly make them share the same pool of uses. A way around it that I've done for some things is making another action as a separate pool of uses, then just note in the spells that they use the ability's pool of uses. It's not ideal, but it would work for what you're looking to do.

basically i have a feature that allows you to cast 2 spells, but i want them to share a "number of uses" pool
Is this a separate Feat they get access to at level 9? Or an ability they automatically gain at level 9?
Also, when you say "Counter Spell or Dispel Magic," you mean they have access to both and have a shared pool of uses between the two?
its an ability they gain at level 9, and yes they are supposed to have both spells and a shared pool of uses between the two.
