I make a lot of homebrew stuff but have only recently begun putting it up in places where people can get it, so I guess I'm curious to see what people think of things so far, since generally they only circulate among my pretty localized DnD group. I'd wanted to make an Aberration-based race for some time, but I really wanted to push a sort of weirdness factor with it and have it be generalized enough that any sort of aberrant-touched bloodline could result in these things spontaneously much the way that Tieflings tend to just pop up out of nowhere in most settings.
So...here are The Abducted. I've had some friends go over it a few times and have even been tinkering with an Abducted character for a future campaign, but I'm curious to have more eyes take a look at it and see what might be tweaked, things I've phrased poorly, and to remind me that I'm still pretty shaky at figuring out the homebrew tools here on DnD Beyond. (Also, I know I'm missing some spells, but they're just...hm. Missing?)
And as for the Elven subrace...Deep Elves. For an Underdark campaign idea, based off the concept of truly unsettling troglodyte elves who've lost much of the culture that even Drow maintain, with that sort of excellently spooky vibe a lot of cave-dwelling critters (like Olm and Blind Catfish) get.
But yes, I hope these are halfway decent to community eyes, and I guess I'll also start putting up some other homebrew bits and bobs over time. We'll see!
(art in the links by...me! I know it's very un-DND-like but all I draw is cute colorful cartoons...)
