The question I have is if anyone can think of any classes that are at peak-power at level 6, to the extent that I should pay special attention to it.
As of now, it seems like swordbard and hexblade are looking quite strong with both 3rd level spells and 2 attacks, but it doesn't seem outlandish. In general, feats will favour martial abilities somewhat over spellcasters, but I doubt this should be much of a problem either.
EDIT: I should add that I will only allow feats and not ability increases past level 6, making a second ability increase exclusive for fighters at level 6.
bards are at their finest at level 6, and it is one level away from fighters gaining their 7th level subclass features which is sad for them, it is also where neromancers "get good".
It is also at arround the time frame where fiend warlocks will be better at fireball than the wizard will
Yea, moon druid is likely a hot contender- but again I don't think it would be enough to disrupt gameplay. If anyone can come up with other possible issues, let me know - if not I think this should work out even better in 5e than it did i 3.5 :)

Hi. I am adopting my 3.5 E6 (https://www.enworld.org/threads/e6-the-game-inside-d-d.206323/) setting to 5E, which in short means level progression stops at level 6, after which progression happens though skill, feat and HP increases (slowly).

Moon druids are pretty strong at low level (especially 2-4).
A 3/3 sorlock would be pretty good.
Fighters will get 1 more feat. Battle master might be pretty strong.
... 6 is a good level for a lot of builds... I might have to try this.
