I have just finished creating a druid archetype, but i am having trouble publishing it. I keep receiving an error message "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels" I have a class feature for 2,6,10, and 14. Is this a known problem with druid or am i missing something else. I have created class archetypes for monk and druid and i didnt run into problems.
It's a known problem in the sense that it's by design, but shouldn't be. The required levels are 2, 3, 6, 10, and 14. The third-level ability is required because the Beyond architecture uses the Circle of the Land progression as the baseline, even though it is the only official druid subclass with a third-level ability. The mods have known about this issue since the original homebrew revamp (over a year ago), but no changes have been made. A workaround would be to create a 3rd-level ability (which must be called "Circle Spells") and leave it empty. You can hide the placeholder feature from the builder and character sheet.
If you want to review fun, interesting, balanced, and playable subclasses please look for my name. My creations include, (but are not limited too) a Barbarian who uses enemies as both armament and armor, and a Warlock subclass about leading a horde of the undead!
