In my campaign a reward for the ranger has been gaining new favoured enemies based on their deeds. Can you use homebrew too add additional selections to favoured enemies?
I tried a homebrew feat. There is a modifier for Favoured Enemies but I don't think it's meant to add additional selections. I took a look at how the "Martial Adept" Feat works because it adds additional choices of a class feature, but if you use this feat on a Battle Master fighter it doesn't add to your maneuvers list, instead it makes a new list in the feat section, even allowing you to pick the same maneuver twice. So maybe feats just don't work this way.
So it might be my best bet to just give them a feat that lists their additional favoured enemies, but does anyone know if homebrew can be used to add additional entries to the actual Favoured Enemy list given under their class features?
