Basically I am going to make a gravity falls themed campaign that takes place at some time later (or before) the events of the series and I don't think most of the traditional classes will work.
Here are some examples (also if I could get ideas please offer them)
- Weird investigators (working on name) basically kinda like Dipper (at the start of the show he would be like lvl 1) or Ford (somewhere around 18-20th level).
- I really can't think of any other examples.
Edit thought of a couple more classes names still are in progress
I mean at the beginning of the show because I mean he is decent at it but he doesn't really know much, I think the journal is kinda like a in game monster manual which obviously makes everything easier and he in dnd terms basically just level up every episode (in the first few anyways) and Is easily at least like level 15 by the end of the show probably higher.

There are only a few playable races common to Gravity Falls. Races from the Player’s Handbook other than gnomes and humans have not been documented as native to Gravity Falls, though there have been cases of such races (namely elves) visiting.
Humans are the most common inhabitants of Gravity Falls. They are much like they are in other worlds, but have greater technological advances. Humans use the statistics presented in the Player’s Handbook.
Manotaurs are strong, manly creatures who dwell in an underground network of caverns called the Man Cave. It is unknown how they reproduce, and there are no known female manotaurs. Manotaurs use the game statistics of Minotaurs, found in Guildmaster’s Guide to Ravnica and Mythic Odyssey’s of Theros. Manotaurs are usually Neutral.
Gnomes are smaller in the world of Gravity Falls than in regular D&D. They are usually Chaotic Neutral. Gnomes often have large heads and wear tall red caps. Their statistics can be found in the Player’s Handbook.
Fauns are rare creatures often found in the service of unicorns and fey creatures. They use the statistics of satyrs, found in Mythic Odysseys of Theros.
While elves are known to be absent from the world of Gravity Falls, other creatures may not be. If you’d like to incorporate another race, try to think of a twist to put on the race. Dwarves may be hairy mole people. Changelings might be a mutated form of the Shapechanger. Centaurs could exist as a result of a failed teleportation (which could result in a horse’s head with human legs affixed to it). The sky is the limit. Yks eht si os, eil a s’ytivarg. Just make it weird.

Some languages are more common than others. The Alien language must be learned from the examination of alien spacecraft. Primordial and Abyssal are both spoken by residents of Gravity Falls. Giant is only spoken in the distant past and future.
Characters replace their Languages racial trait with the following:
Language. You speak Common.
Optionally, veering away from the show, each race might speak its own language. Manotaurs and gnomes may speak their own racial languages, and fauns may speak Sylvan. It’s up to you.
Classes
Many classes hold unconventional roles in the world of Gravity Falls.
Artificer
“Well, first I just hootenannied up a biomechanical brain wave generator, and then I learned to operate a stick-shift with ma beard!” - Fiddleford McGucket
The class of creation, many researchers and inventors take on the tradition of Artifice. You might find such a character as the focus of an adventure involving a mechanical menace or as an ally in building an important device. Alchemists are the most common sort of Artificer in Gravity Falls.
Barbarian
“Go to highest mountain and bring back head of the Multibear!” - Leaderaur
Barbarian is the class of great, primal warriors. Most Barbarians are manotaurs and most manotaurs are barbarians, though the occasional lumberjack or other character could fill the role. Berserkers are most common, though Wild Magic often creates Barbarians.
Bard
“Soos! Give me the 80s-ist, crowd pleasing-ist, rock ballad-y-ist song you got!“ - Mabel Pines
Bards are rare in the world of Gravity Falls, though the musically inclined often take up the practice. Nearly any bardic college can be practiced by these extraordinary individuals.
Cleric
“Praise the Axolotl!” - Interdimensional Refugees
The people of Gravity Falls know little of divine forces. The great Cosmic Axolotl rules the universe and can grant spells from the Life, Light, and especially Knowledge domains. Ghosts might be able to grant characters spells from the Death and Grave domains. One other deity, the Love God, can be worshipped for power in the Life, Twilight, Light, and Trickery domains. Other gods might accept worship, at your discretion.
Druid
Druids are often found among the rare and reclusive Fauns. Other druids are very, very rare. Circle of the Land Druids are most common, though the occasional Circle of Stars, Circle of Dreams, or Circle of the Shepard also arises.
Fighter
“I’ve got the other thing. What is it called? Oh, right, punching!” - Stanley Pines
Fighters are the average warriors who defend Gravity Falls from the threats that lurk within. Champions are fairly common, with skilled explorers learning to be Eldritch Knights or even Battle Masters. Aside from the odd Psi Warrior, no other subclass is common in Gravity Falls.
Monk
“I've been wandering the plains like a desperado, helping strangers. I guess there's some folk songs about me now?“ - Soos Ramirez
Monks might be those who answer the call of isolation and martial training, or those who grew up in such a way. While some practice the Way of the Four Elements, most practice the Way of the Open Hand, Way of the Sun Soul, or Way of Mercy. Some might study the mystical creature known as the Hide Behind, learning the Way of Shadow.
Paladin
“Come back when you’re PURE OF HEART.” - Celestabellebethabelle
Paladins aren’t common, but the occasional pure hearted individual sometimes takes up the mantle of the paladin. No paladin subclass is common, though Oath of Vengeance and Oath of the Keepers paladins are a more common find than Oath of Glory, Devotion, or Conquest Paladins.Because there is no real establishment of paladins in the Falls, Oath of Redemption and Oathbreaker paladins are very, very, very rare, and often come from the twisted standards of Unicorns.
Ranger
“I've been wanting to go adventuring with you guys.” - Wendy Corduroy
Rangers are people familiar and comfortable with woodland settings, ready to fight for the natural landscapes of Gravity Falls. Beast Masters, Fey Wanderers, Gloom Stalkers, and Swarm Keepers aren’t common, but Hunters and Monster Slayers are. Horizon Walkers often do dangerous deeds to protect the mortal realm from the horrors of what lies beyond.
Rouge
“I began to investigate at once.” - Stanley Pines
Rouges use cunning and wit to survive where brute strength and magic fail. This is the most common class of Gravity Falls characters. Inquisitive rouges are extraordinarily common, yet all rouge subclasses exist in plenty within Gravity Falls, except for the Mastermind, Soul Knife, and Phantom.
Sorcerer
“Incredible! Gravity Falls natural law of weirdness magnetism. I studied this years ago!“ - Stanford Pines
Gravity Falls attracts wild magic. From the day when an alien spacecraft crashed in the valley, weirdness has always found its way back to Gravity Falls. Thus, while Draconic Bloodline and Clockwork Soul Sorcerers are unheard of, Wild Magic Sorcerers and Storm Sorcerers exist in plenty. Those exposed to the Nightmare Realm may become Abberrant Mind Sorcerers, and those who learn from the Cosmic Axolotl might become Divine Soul sorcerers.
Warlock
“I’m finally ready to make a deal.” - Gideon Gleeful
“He told me he was a muse. That he chose one brilliant mind a century to inspire. What a fool I was. Blinded by his flattery and games.” - Stanford Pines
“A deal’s a deal, Sixer!” - Bill Cipher
If Bill Cipher and his servants reach out to you, you might strike a bargain with a Fiend, Hexblade, or Great Old One patron. If the Oracle or the Cosmic Axolotl offers their aid, you might forge a pact with the Celestial or Great Old One. If a unicorn deems you worthy, then it might allow you the powers of the Celestial or Archfey. A pact with an ancient merfolk might give you the powers of the Fathomless. Powerful ghosts might offer the power of the Undying or Undead. And don’t underestimate the Genie who comes out of the bottle. If you are willing to put your own goals aside to serve a great patron, then prepare for great magical power- and the price that comes with it. Laed a ekam s’tel.
Wizard
“Mortals of dimension 46 Apostrophe Backslash, kneel before me and... snivel!” - Probabilitor the Annoying
Though not happening often, wizards can arise in Gravity Falls. Bladesingers and War Mages aren’t seen often, though other subclasses may occur.
