"No. It's not the actual sun.I'll tell you and others later. If we can survive this stinky pit…" Says no more, Lucy steps into the storehouse.

Lucy's eyes are sparkling with stars, the moment she sees the beautiful weapon. She drops her crude made orc bow and kicks it away. When the bladesinger takes the longbow from Sila, she looks almost rubbing her cheek against it. "Most appreciated. She looks soooo pretty. I can't wait to use her to kill those pigs!"

Sila grins at Lucy's pleasure with the bow. "I see it will be in good hands, tell me what you discover?"She looks over and scoops up the discarded bow thinking it will make a nice practice piece for her woodcarving. She glances at the potion bottles and picks them up. She examines them for markings or any other indication of what they are as well as uncapping them carefully to confirm that they contain liquid, taking a quick whiff of the contents to see what she can determine. arcana13
Sila pulls a glass bottle from her inventory and moves to the barrels. Do they still contain the liquid? If so, she will fill up a bottle of the liquid and compare it to the oil flasks that she has already.
Both barrels contain dregs of fluid, both clear. However, you notice slightly different aromas from both, and neither seems to resemble any other liquid that you have equipped, including the alchemist's fire.

Artemis pokes Lucy with its wings, trying to tell her that Garavant is looking for something. No answers. Artemis hoots to Lusy's ear. But the Elf isn't listening and mumbling elven poems about a hundred ways to stab Orcs. Artemis sighs.( Yeah this owl can sigh!) The white owl takes a flight and helps the Half Elf rogue to find the hidden secret door.
She has a total of two glass bottles in her inventory and discovering that the fluid may not be what she initial suspected it to be, fills both and stores them in her pack (one from each). Then as an afterthought, she pulls out a vial from her inventory, scoops up a small amount of the fluid from the first and moves to a separate part of the room, preferably with a smooth rock surface and pours it out and lights it using her tinderbox, keeping as much distance as possible to see what happens.
Sila applies her tinderbox to the liquid but it seems unable to catch.
Artemis cannot see any other exit from the small room - it appears that the only exits are the iron gate to the west, the shaman's room to the south and the stairs in the middle of this chamber.
(OOC In case it wasn't clear from my description before, the large chamber north of the fire pit room also had an exit to the north - see map in post #283)
She packs the bottles and puts her vials away separately and looks to the others. "I was really expecting these liquids to be flammable, considering all this.." She gestures at the mechanism near the door, "and them.." gesturing to the dead orcs outside. "Hmm. Maybe.. I'm going to feel really foolish but worth a try." She takes the bottles out of her pack and dribbles a little on the tip of the discarded bow she picked up to see if anything happens.
(so I don't make the group crazy with this - not flammable. Tests its reaction to wood. Then a drop to her skin. Then lastly tastes it. She will not do the next if she gets a reaction to any of it. Its probably wine...but since she's not sure)
Artemis comes back from her scout. She uses her wing to gently slap Lucy's face. "You flying meat! If you wanna get shot now, then I'll…what? Secret door, what are you talking about?" Lucy lowers arrow and blinks her eyes. After thinking a moment, she speaks to the rogue. "Too bad, Gravant. There's no hidden door. Those potions, my pretty shining new bow and that fluid, Sila is checking is all what we got in this room"
"Ah well,"Garavant says. "Such is life. Even the most secure of vaults may not hold much in the way of gold. Although I suppose these magical treasures are nothing to frown upon."
He backs away from all that they've found, slipping back out past the formerly trapped entrance. "Seems we must press on,"he says. "I recall another passageway further back...shall we?"
Sila's tests on the fluid from one drum produce no tangible results; no effect on the bow (although it soaks in and leaves a damp mark, too early to say if it will stain). No immediate effect on the skin and the slightest taste leaves Sila gagging in revulsion but unhurt - the flavour is reminiscent of getting too close to a freshly-prepared torch before lighting, but not the exact same sensation.
"No objection." Lucy answers as she tries the string of her longbow. "We are all in good shape and not badly injured. I saved most of my spells. There is a good chance that the Ogre and his goons are still sleeping like that shaman. Everything screams Go And Get Them! …And yeah. I haven't killed anyone with my new girlfriend too!"
Sila gathers her gear and heads back out the door. (If no one is interested in the Greater Heal potions, she will gather them and store them but perhaps better if spread among the group?) She hesitates at the steps. "Lucy, is the area below enclosed or expands out? If its just those buzzy things, might be a good test for that pretty new bow?"
Sila leads the party down the stone stairs and into the darkness below.
The stairway twists and turns a long way downward. The floor has been cut into hundreds of shallow steps, but the walls and ceiling are still natural rock. About sixty feet down, a rushing stream spills from a narrow crack to the south and crosses the stairway, disappearing into a narrow, winding tunnel to the north. The rill is only two or three feet wide.
You carry on further down. The descending fissure opens up abruptly into a very high cavern, its ceiling easily forty feet or more overhead. The stairway continues to wind down along a ledge that follows the north wall of the chamber. A fast-moving stream about five feet wide runs across the floor of the chamber from the north and disappears under a low stone overhang to the south, and larger passageways exit to the southeast and the northeast.
The buzzing sound seems to have stopped...
(OOC: I've cut off the north west corner of the map, but it's a dead end which you would have seen on the descent)

"The underground is huge. There are doors we haven't opened yet. Are you sure to go down now?" Usually at this point, Lucy suggests to kill everything on this floor before going down. But the idea that the artifact she is looking for might be somewhere nearby makes her a bit reckless. Lucy shrugs and follows the monk. She leaves her familiar on the ground floor to guard the entrance.
"The bat-like creature my owl had seen disappeared. Where did they go?" The bladesinger fits an arrow to her new bow and looks around.

The red liquid's consistency, colour and smell are relatively common in your line of work; they are both Greater Healing Potions.
To Lucy about the sun thing "Ooooh, a mystery! Don't wait to long please, I don't know if my curiosity can handle that 🙈".
"If you want, and want to take 10 minutes, I could identify the bow for you Lucy?"

"Wait, Ogre?"
(I really need to know which direction the group is heading - someone decide please and I will process it)
Sila looks to the stairway down into the depths and pulling out her daggers starts down, hoping the others will follow her.
