The ghostseems to seep into Gruenic, finding gaps in his armour and pouring into his open mouth. After a moment the half orc turns to his erstwhile allies and starts shouting; Gruenic's voice speaking the ancient language you heard from the ghost when it first appeared. His eyes glint with sapphire light.
Breetries to recall any way of exorcising the ghost from her friend but struggles to think of anything in the moment, short of knocking the cleric unconscious.
(Bree may still have an action, then it's Hreow's turn)
"Uhm. Does anybody have any idea how to expel that ghost from his body? All I can think of is knock him unconscious.. And I would rather not do that to be honest." Bree says. She then takes out her dagger and readies herself to throw it towards the ghost when it gets out. Taking a step closer to be sure it is within easy throwing range.

Hreow, still slightly disconcerted by the ghosts ghastly pressence, looks at the possessed body of Gruenic standing right next to him. Having no idea how to get the ghost out himself, and listening to what Bree just said Hreow shouts "Don't worry little one, I can bring him back" after which he launches a savage attack straight at the possessed Gruenic.
Sila steps forward and looks slightly sheepish before she gives it a full on monk try. Two punches and a Kick trying to knock the cleric out. "Sorry for this..." She utilizes one Ki for a Flurry of Blows. (I believe bonus damage applies with flurry but pls adjust if not?

Garavant is a little slow to understand what's happening, logical deduction not being his strong suit. But after a breath, he realizes what has happened. He recalls he is carrying a healing potion and hopes it will work on their comrade once he's full of holes. He waits for an opening then lunges at Gruenic, the usual joy and flair with which he fights nowhere to be seen.
Gruenic stands there locked up, watching it all happen. He feels each sword thrust and cut, battling in his own way with this dwarven spirit, sensing the terrible grief of the ghost. Ghost, get out of my body! Selune, Selune, why have you forsaken me! Garavant, Sila, Bree, look at me, look at these holes in my body!
You see his body shake and react as the blows rain down on Gruenic, but he remains silent, absorbing them all. Tears run down his cheeks and drip on the floor.
Silaunleashes a barrage of attacks on the possessed Gruenic, with the last one finding a weak spot to get through.
Garavant, showing uncharacteristic restraint, is no less dangerous for the lack of flair and drives his rapier deep into Gruenic's side. The cleric looks badly wounded.
Gruenicpleads to Selune, silent to anyone outside his own head. He is sure that he hears a faraway whisper but cannot make out any words.
The possessed Gruenicturns to Sila, unable to reach the retreating Garavant, and strikes at the monk with his warhammer.
Attack on Sila: 23to hit for 7pts of bludgeoning damage (on game log)
At first Bree is a bit surprised when Hreow starts hacking with his axe, definitely convinced his Lady might have given him some insight on how to expel the ghost as he says he will bring Gruenic back. She starts moving to jump between the two of them and then she suddenly remembers that she herself suggested knocking Gruenic out.
Being not that proficient with weapons and not thinking throwing fire at Gruenic is a good idea she takes out her healing potion and steps forward, trying to get next to Gruenic, readying her action to administer the potion of healing once the ghost is expelled. "Go ahead, knock him out, I'll bring him back when the ghost is out!"

carrying the momentum of his previous swing Hreow pivots on his feet, once again bringing around his axe. Using the side of it in an attempt to knock Gruenic out.
Great axe attack (non lethal): 10 damage: 12
edit:
Feeling his strike might not be as true as he wishes it to be, Hreow feels a surge of divine inspiration as he lets his lady guide his strike.
Using Channel Divinity: Guided Strike to add +10 to the attack roll. If it hits and it reduces Gruenic to 0 HP I would like to use my second attack from Great Weapon Master to attack the ghost if possible.
Breepositions herself near Gruenic, ready to administer a healing potion as soon as - assuming - he falls unconscious.
Hreow'sguided strike smashes into Gruenic'schestplate, a resounding crash rocks the room and the half orc starts to fall. Breecradles his head to prevent any further injury, pouring a healing potion down the cleric's throat even as the ghost leaps from his sleeping form.
Silareacts with lightning speed, jabbing and kicking the spirit and tearing small parts from it. She pulls back just in time to see Hreow'sfollow-up swing head straight for the ghost...
Gruenic gasps for air on the ground, shuddering, taking deep breaths as he is brought back, given a glimpse of the afterlife beyond through the cold eyes of a lost spirit. “Ggggrrraaahhh!” he shouts as he comes back, “Gggghost! A cold dwarven spirit, full of sorrow, grief and shame! Driven to protect their hhhome!” He shudders and shakes, sweating profusely. As the healing potion starts to work he breathes a little deeper and slower, looking down at his body with an odd sensation.

Seeing the ghost leave Gruenic Hreow does not hesitate to strike at it with surprising speed
Great Axe Attack (+Great Weapon Master) 15 damage: 20
Edit:
Feeling the blow impact some core element of the ghost, Hreow lets out a cry "Feel my wrath you cowardly ghost" as the blow explodes in a surge of radiant energy, casting divine smite dealing: 33 radiant damage. Additionally, Hreow adjusts his strike last miniute in an attempt to maximize the impact (using great weapon fighting I can reroll the 1 on the original damage roll) dealing: 27
final damage: 36 slashing + 31 radiant damage
(OOC, @GrubaMcD let me know if this is the correct way of doing the damage on the crit. If not ill alter it after the fact)
Hreow's second strike, imbued with celestial power, practically explodes as the axe strikes the ghost. The sudden flare of radiant energy almost blinds everyone as they are forced to avert their gaze.
When the light fades the ghost is gone, just a few stray wisps of dark smoke that dissipate within seconds.
(Combat over, everyone add 250xp. Great co-ordination and tactics, inspiraiton all round!)
The corridor falls silent again. You have closed wooden double doors to the south, or the corridor continues east.
Taking a second to confirm that the danger has passed Hreow sheaths his axe and walks over to Gruenic. Laying his hand on the cleric's shoulder he turns to Bree and says:
"Thank you little one, I got it from here" Hreow takes a deep breath and softly mumble, so only Bree and Gruenic hear it, "May the light of the Lady not only cleanse my soul but heal this body". as he finishes his sentence a soft light glows where he touches Gruenic. Using Lay on Hands to heal Gruenic for 15 hit points.

Gruenic looks up at Hreow, truly amazed. He grips his forearm in a grasp of friendship, honor, and strength. He brings his head forward and lightly touches his forehead to the helm of the warrior, in a sign of gratitude and respect for him. "Thank you. From the depths of my soul, I thank you. You saved me from a horrible existence. I cannot begin to describe how horrible that felt, to lose control of my body, to swing my weapon at my friends...." He bows his head, saying no more.
He takes some deep breaths, focusing on his body, getting a second wind, and healing for an additional 5 hit points. After a moment, he stands, stiffly and looks around, as if seeing the world anew. Glad to be alive. "Now. Where were we?"
