In a distant land polluted by an alien menace from beyond the stars, a great cancer grows within the earth. Welcome, one and all, to what will likely be the last PbP I start, this time converting the Cthulhu-inspired horror Pathfinder Adventure Path, Strange Aeons. If you are interested in joining, apply here with the following:

You may notice I don't ask for names or backstories. There's a good reason for that: you start this campaign with no memories! Who you are is a total mystery to even yourself. I will come up with names and backstories for each of the characters, and they will be made available if and when you recover your memories. For now, come up with a nickname you can have others call you.

Starting level is 1, standard starting equipment, milestone advancement, minimum of one post per day appreciated. I'll be picking based on who I think will be a consistent poster.

Physical Description: The Aarakocra has brightly colored feathers and bright orange talons, the feathers are slightly ruffled and one of his eyes has a scar over it. He is wearing a dirty black cloak with a mysterious symbol over his heart. He has his shortsword hidden in his cloak, and there are dried up blood stains on it.

Physical Description: A tiefling with light blue skin and white hair. Four small horns jut out of her forehead, just under her hairline, the two on the outside smaller than the two in the center. The horns themselves are a dark purple-ish blue. Her hair is long and curly, often pulled back out of her face in a tight braid. Her eyes are entirely black. She's a little on the shorter side, around 5 foot nothing. Her teeth are sharp enough to match her ever-present grin. She tends to stick to darker clothes, if only to blend into the background a bit easier.

Trinket: A tarnished skeleton key worn on a leather cord around her neck.

Trinket: Sapphire has a large adjustable crescent wrench, which ends in a spike. Close examination reveals the initials HP inscribed in the shaft. Closer examination reveals a few flecks of dried blood near its pointed end.

Trinket: Jack-in-the-Box - Handel finds that when he asks the jack-in-a-box a question and cranks the handle it will spring up displaying a face; happy, sad, angry, blissful, etc.  He often uses this as a form of guidance when undertaking activities.  The more he uses the item the more he feels reliant on it.  The jack-in-the-box plays an eerie, mocking dirge as it is cranked.
