Lahuna cocks her head. "I believe something is playing with our minds. That doll is wood, it should not have blood. Oh, and there may be spiders here. Or those may be mind games as well."

"That's... exciting." Morticia's tone indicates that she definitely did not find that information exciting at all. If anything though, it was good to know. "Let's, um, stick together then. Maybe if someone sees something and gets freaked out by it, the others could... pull them out of it?" She hoped that made sense. "Let's go..."

Lahuna nods somberly. "I agree, that is a good tactic to use in cases of mental manipulation. Try not to respond to any sudden draws down dark hallways." She sets off for the hallway to E5.

Area E5

This large, dim room contains a dozen wooden desks topped with hinged lids, each with stacks of paper and well-used inkwells. The desks are arranged in neat rows. A lectern stands at the front, facing the desks. Spider webs stretch from desk to desk and up to the walls and ceilings. A hall leads out to the east, while wooden doors stand in the north and west walls. As you enter the room, you see an  ettercap glare at you momentarily, before dissolving into a swarm of spiders and exiting through the door to the west. Before you can follow however, dozens of small spiders crawl out of the desk and attack!

Greydon draws their scythe with their signature flourish. They appeared real enough.

Corinne had been in a malaise, walking along with the group but not really perceiving what was going on, being led by Morticia until suddenly there was movement, as spiders poured in. This snapped her attention into focus:

"They are most likely real," Lahuna agrees calmly, her eyes turning white. A desperate voice, cracked with pain, exits her mouth. "No, no please don't, please, I'll do anything, NOOOOOOO!" The scream echoes through the air, battering at the swarm's ears.

"It's at times like these I wish they were fake..." Morticia murmurs quietly to herself, trying to poke the swarm with her rapier then her dagger.

Mallet grimaces at the spiders crawling over Lahuna, and gives a "this is a bad idea" look but still casts create bonfire on her space. 

"This should burn them off, I'm sorry if it hurts! I can heal you if stop, drop, and roll doesn't work!" she says.
