Once you reach the clearing, the man in charge sees you grouped together. "A group of four, how nice," he says, beaming at you. "If you mean to register, please fill out these forms. Once you do, you will be allowed access into the castle and given further details, after which you will be allowed a chance to leave. These forms are preliminary, nothing more."
He hands each of you a single form and a quill to use. Each form says:
Please fill out the following criteria to be allowed into the castle.
"I'm not that good at naming, so probably I'll sit this one out. Although if you ask me, and you shouldn't, this team has managed to attract a lot of fae, so how about the Fae-lure." (I'll see myself out)
“Hmm. The joke may not come across as much as just undermining our abilities when they decide who to hire.” Iarakir fills his own name on the form. And lists investigation , subtlety, and finesse as his skills. “Perhaps ‘Con-fae-dent’?”
"Right, sorry about that." filling ashamed of his blunder, Sean fills out his part. "Skill set? Kni..." he stops and attempts to cover that up. "Heavy infantry and shock tactics. We still need a name for our group, any suggestions Beth?"
Liking the sound of Glass Breakers, Sean gives an approving nod, then turning towards Iarakir and Aspen he ask "what do you think? Glass Breakers has a nice ring to it, don't you agree?"
The noble takes the quills and forms back from the three that have filled it out. Turning to Beth, he says, "Well? I haven't got all day, you know. There are other groups waiting for these quills." And indeed, behind you a group of human men stand waiting impatiently.
Th man takes your form from you and directs you to a waiting guard. The guard motions for you to follow him into the castle, saying a bit nervously, "H-hello. I'm Caden Colmore, and I'll be your guard and guide while you are in the castle. If you don't mind, we'll be going to the throne room for each group to meet his majesty in person before I take you to your rooms." As you walk through the castle, he keeps darting looks at Beth and Aspen... or more accurately, their Fae ears. When you realize that, he quickly looks away. "Sorry, I've just never seen any Fae before. You-you are Fae, no?" He claps a hand over his mouth, face burning. "Sorry about that, sorry, I know that's probably not polite. You-you can go in whenever you're ready." And indeed, Caden Colmore has lead you to the throne room, the door of which sits slightly ajar.
You enter the throne room to find it absolutely devoid of guards and servants save for the king, two armed nobles and a hooded person who's face is covered in shadows. The room itself is lavish, with white marble floors and a gem encrusted throne where the king sits. In a deep voice, the king says, "Welcome, adventurers. I am King Glaston Ashryver, and I welcome you to my home. I assume you are here inquiring after the job? If so, I'll answer questions you may have about it."
Sean noticing the emptiness of the room aproches the king with caution, kneeling in front of the king with all the ceremony of his past betraying any attempt to conceali it. "Your highness, King of Wendlyn" he pauses to see if the king intervenes, after no response he continues "my companions and I, the Glass Breakers, are gathered here after your proclamation to assist in whatever manner we can." he claims before consulting with the rest of the team. "But first we were wondering about the nature of the situation and what is expected of us." he finally goes silent leaving room for anyone to intervene.
"That sounds good. I think we should do it before the small groups ahead of us start clustering together and coming back."
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
"That works for me. Shall we?"

Name:
Group Name: (decide this among your groups)
Skill set(s) (IE tracking, healing, etc):
“Hm, well what should the group name be?” I ask my group members.

(ok I’ll leave too. 🙈)

I“Oh yea! I was thinking Glass Breakers!” I say enthusiastically
Liking the sound of Glass Breakers, Sean gives an approving nod, then turning towards Iarakir and Aspen he ask "what do you think? Glass Breakers has a nice ring to it, don't you agree?"
“Agreed.” Filling out the last bit of the form Iarakir hands it back to those at the gate.
Aspen writes down his skills as "Killing things and sneaking, but I'm not an assassin." and passes it to someone else.

“Oh! Apologies.” I say quickly signing the form. I put my skills as, “You know, the Druid stuff. Controlling nature and all that Jazz.”

“Nonono! It’s ok!” I say to Caden, before walking into the throne room.
"At ease, soldier" I say, with a somewhat mocking tone, before heading inside the throne room.
Saying nothing I walk into the throne room giving a slight chuckle as I pass the guard.
(OOC I'm going to assume Aspen enters as well)
