Mounds of broken rock block the tunnel, piled from ceiling to floor. The other parts of the cave-in were passable after the collapse, but this seems an impenetrable wall of earth.

The opening of this tunnel is nearly circular. Black moss covers the walls, floor, and ceiling of the tunnel as far as you can see. Within this tunnel are several branches, all of them covered in the same black moss.
Uncaring as to where specifically the party goes, Ecko happily trots along after Ysa. Ecko immediately oohs and aahs over the black moss, flipping through a bunch of notes and checking if he has seen it before.
Arcana - 9
Instead, Ecko stumbles across something far more important he had forgotten about - a collection of Hupperdookian recipes. He fights for a moment before tearing his gaze from his notes and shrugging, not quite sure what the thing is.
"I agree," Ecko echoes, repeating Raastin's words and swiveling towards the distraught Eralynn "Deep breaths, Eralynn. Think of that Valerian. Yalerio. Yalerian?" Ecko suggests, a puzzled look on his features. Some things he instantly forgets. Some thing he always remembers.
Removing a pair of sterile gloves and removing a small container from his bag, Ecko promptly dumps a couple dozen random bits of yarn and buttons collected over the years on the ground and scoops a handful of moss into it before eagerly hopping up and moving towards the nearest area they haven't been. I believe M3?
"I'm not likin' this place either." Garmus says, moving to Eralynn's other side. "Just gotta push through." He growls, grabbing her hand and pulling her after Ecko.
"Think of it this way Eralynn," Ysabell began as they continued walking, "We've already survived a trip to the Shadowfell and back. So a fight with invisible, mind altering Meenlocks from another realm who slowly destroyed an entire village should be a rather simple task for us!" Ysa finished with a smile in an attempt to bolster the Bard's spirits.
Everyone's support made Eralynn feel a bit better. She sighed and got a grip. Yalerion. She smiled weakly, wondering if she'd ever get to see him again. Was there even potential? Would she even been remembered by him? It had barely begun - no - it hadn't even started, and this place made her nervous. What happened to the days she was so brave she would stand toe to toe with two bouncers to allow a misunderstood dwarf a moment to escape?

Interesting. Ecko scratches his head, conjures up all the architectural and structural information he ever knows. The Hupperdookian engineers all had a good foundation in structural building - this is the first time Ecko recalls the information, though. It was quite an esoteric subject.

Returning to the previous intersection, Ysabell continued forward - and after a few turns - made her way to M7, confidant that the moss was harmless based off of her previous inspection.
As you traversed the tunnels, you can feel something caressing your mind, and when you look at the moss, it's like it's dancing, ever so subtlety. The tunnels wrap and weave around like a maze, and you can hear whispers and cries for help in voices you don't know.
Raastin shudders. "I really don't like this place," he says, trailing behind Ysabell. Sighing, he adds, "Let's be done with this place soon." He turns, working his way along the tunnels towards M9, coming from the east. "There appears to be something this way," he whispers back.

New scents greet you here: the musty funk of decaying fabric and old furs, and the smell of rot lingering in the stagnant air. Thick pillars of moss-covered stone support the twenty-foot-high ceiling, and waist-high stone slabs dot the cavern. The stone slabs are coated with blood and filth. The remnants of people lie on the south side of the room, heaped piles of bones, clothing, boots, rusted blades, and splintered bows and arrows rest within the recessed portions of the walls.
You can feel the madness creeping through your skin exponentially as you look around in this cavern, and in the distance behind you, through the tunnels, you can hear something approaching. Many things.

"I wonder what this odd moss could be..." Ysabell mused to herself as she examined it.

Garmus stands back, arms crossed, watching everyone look over the walls. It was moss! Who cares! A scowl sits on his face.
Other than it being just moss, you're getting the rising feeling of claustrophobia here, it's like the moss is muffling all sound here.

Gotta get out gotta get out gotta get out gotta get out gotta get oouuuutttt of heeeerrrreeee.....
She looks like she's on the verge of a panic attack.
Raastin senses her anxiety. "Let's leave then," he says, turning to escort Eralynn out. "This place gives me the creeps."

It looks like the miners intended to dig here, but did not.
"Dead end. Back the way we came boys and girls." Turning around, Garmus trudges back the other way.
