Rumor states that a bronze dragon by the name of Zelifarna has taken residence in a shipwreck about 120 feet underwater off of Waterdeep's Deepwater Harbor.
"Well, how the hell are we gon' get down there?"Kasha cried.
"Wait, he or she lives under the water? That's a big problem... And not only because we'll have to hold our breath for a long time, but water pressure might be an issue too..."
That was going to be a problem, a really big one. Feliara caressed the top of Kasha's head, like any villain would do in a movie, before looking at Avys. He was clever, knew a lot about magic, and always had great ideas.
"Maybe Kasha can turn into a fish, but we've got to search for a way to survive down there and also talk! Asking the dragon to come out of the water would work, but I bet they won't like it. We're already going to ask something, I don't want us to have a huge disadvantage by bothering them even more."
"Wait, he or she lives under the water? That's a big problem... And not only because we'll have to hold our breath for a long time, but water pressure might be an issue too..." "Yerp! Under deh sea. I hear it's better down where it's wetter, take it from mmmeeeeeeee....!" she sings.

WATER!" she reminded you. "I've never turned into a fish before. Nor, would I go in there. Sheesh! Maybe we could lure her out?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"You don't like baths, that's what I knew. There must be another way to communicate with them. Maybe sending someone with a letter? Cause if we want to lure them out... What did the stories tell..."
The elf pondered, humming softly as she closed her eyes to concentrate more on every story that she learned. Songs, poems... Anything she remembered.
"I remember that tons of gold worked, and maybe sacrifices? I'm not sure about the sacrifices though. They all said "a young attractive girl..."
Feliara looked at Kasha with a smile and tightening the hug, restraining her between her not really strong arms. She then laughed and gave the girl a small kiss on the side of her head before speaking again.
"Well, I'll start writing my testament. We all know that I'm the most attractive girl here, and I still look young"

"Well, I'll start writing my testament. We all know that I'm the most attractive girl here, and I still look young" Kasha scoffed at this, finding the comment amusing. "Yeah!"Then she thought. "How are we going to get to an underwater shipwreck off the dock..?"
"Why don't we just ask around rather than twisting a loincloths in a knot thinking about it." Bruvir jumped in before walking up to the nearest person - and asking in his "friendliest" voice, "Rumor has it there's a dragon around here. Ever seen it?"
Intimidation (advantage due to subclass feature): 9/ 14
A small group of sailors admit to seeing a dragon emerge to and from the ocean off the docks. They suggest using a ship to row out and try and get the dragon's attention. They wish you luck and hope you don't get eaten.
Kasha is not a fan of this idea, but that's her water phobia speaking.
"Taking a boat to be at the mercy of a bloody dragon sounds like a terrible idea." Bruvir commented after hearing the sailors suggestion. "If it's cranky or just an ass, it could sink our boat - or eat us - and that'd be the end of that. If anyone else has another bright, lets do that first." he added.
Syl grins. This was crazy. They were crazy. This whole idea was crazy. They were going to risk their lives to meet a dragon to find a unicorn to potentially earn half a million dragons of the golden variety. What the hell happened in his life? He shakes his head. "This is insane. I'm all for it. Dragons like gold - I say we lure it out and promise it enough to make chipping a scale worthwhile, eh?" Syl walks towards the sailors and hails them. He was known for bumbling around the dock ward while drunk. "Hey, it's Sylivar here. Sober this time. Strange, huh? Has this dragon shown interest in anything specifically? Do you sailors have anything specific to deal with it?"
"It's friendly as long as ya don't go pokin' around in her hoard, dontcha know. Take a boat and see what happens, aye? But don't be sayin' I didn't warn yeh, arrrrr."
"How old is this dragon? It's not a full adult is it?" Bruvir asked the sailors. Even when he was a full-fledged Giant, fighting an adult dragon one-on-one would've been a severe challenge for him. With this group, they wouldn't last more than 30 seconds.
Unwilling to keep pestering this poor dockhand any longer, Sylivar shrugs and hands over a small amount of coin. "We'll take a boat from you. Does she like anything in particular? Gold? Jewels? Gems? Fish?" A wink. "Elves? Hmm...they might be a bit sinewy..."
The sailors groan mightily and go about their business. Kasha joins them in the groan, looking at him comically. "By the power of Greyskull, Syl!" she exasperates. "Gold!"as if it was obvious.
Syl grins and leans backwards on his quarterstaff, arms locked in such a way that provides his flexible body a place to practically rest on in the middle of the dock. He pauses to think. “Right. We know we only need a scale, right? And we know the dragon likes gold, right? How about we offer it a cut of the dragons in exchange for a scale? Feliara, you’re good at sweet talking. Does that sound agreeable with you?”

"I not giving a bloody dragon a single piece of that gold." Bruvir replied in an annoyed manner. "Once they smell gold, it's likely to try and take it all for itself as soon as it can; probably from our cold dead hands. If we're going to offer it gold, just give it some of what we have now instead."
(Bruvir's gonna need a little convincing to get along with this particular plan)

"Well, she's not gonna do it out of the kindness of her heart! Do you work for free? No, I didn't think so. Plus, we don't need to tell her where the vault is."Kasha said.
"Bruvir's right. If we mention the vault, she'll surely want whatever it's inside. And we all know that dragons are really scary, try saying no to them without getting blasted into oblivion"
Feliara pointed out, crossing her arms on her chest and sighing.
"I can surely try to speak with her, but... I mean, I don't think we need the gold we have now if we manage to get into that vault. Maybe if we all gather our gold, she'll listen to us. Then there's the problem of her getting interested in our intentions. Magic's weird and maybe she wants to make sure that we ain't gonna curse her scalie ass, maybe some spell needs the scales of a dragon to weaken her. We should try to earn her trust and then ask her for the scale, don't you think? Like... Some kind of trophy to remember her in our future adventures."
