"Bruvir's right. If we mention the vault, she'll surely want whatever it's inside. And we all know that dragons are really scary, try saying no to them without getting blasted into oblivion" "Uh, didn't I just say, you don't mention the vault, then? Hello!" Kasha reminded. "So how do we lure her out? Throw it into the ocean?"
"That's the thing, Kasha. Lying to people? Easy. Lying to a dragon? We're screwed. And wanting a dragon scale ain't something usual, so she'll want to know why we want it."
She paused for a bit, trying to think about a plan that wouldn't end up with them chewed like a chicken leg. She strolled around, watching everything as if the answer to her questions was written somewhere.
"She's clever, super clever maybe. Maybe throwing gold into the ocean would work, but what if she just grabs it and goes away? We have no way of making her stay and talk, so I think we should go for a more diplomatic route. One that doesn't imply treating her like some kind of pigeon in a park. Maybe spread a rumor that some adventurers are searching for a dragon to serve or something like that. Then we wait for her to pop up, do some errand and we get paid in scales"

"As much as I hate the thought of working for a dragon, if it means not telling it anything about the vault or the treasure, I'll go along with it for now..." Bruvir replied.
"Hey you!" Bruvir barked towards a random dock worker, "Where can we find the biggest freshest cut of meat around here? And I mean big; like cow sized." he asked in his patented friendly manner.
"Damn... That's big. Surely a dragon won't decline such amount of food, right?"
She asked getting her purse ready to pay half of the price to Bruvir. Even though she was a bit scared because the dragon could eat them as easily as that enormous piece of meat, helping her friends get that amount of money surely was worth it. For her part, she already had a plan, one that would use every single coin.
"Should we toss it into the ocean? Or wait in a boat?"

"My vote would be tossing. Really throw it out there. You can do that, right, Bru?"Kasha looked up at him, cuz she sure as hell wasn't going into that water. Or on a boat. No. "Maybe..magic..or something.."she trailed off.
"We could put it in a little boat, canoe size, and push it a bit into the water while we wait on the docks. We tie it to a rope and we wait, you know, like fishing. Maybe throw little chunks to catch her attention"
Feliara proposed, still looking at that gigantic piece of meat. Realizing that she was hungry, she sighed before looking at those two waiting for their opinion on the new idea. It didn't include being themselves the bait either getting on a boat, so risks were minimal. Besides that, it was like an offering, so they would have a bit of an advantage to their negotiations.
"I can only reach 60 feet with my unseen servant, and I doubt that it can move the steak with ease. I have no problem with swimming a bit, I doubt that the dragon's gonna swallow the boat and me like a hungry shark"

The elf approached the druid and grabbed her by her shoulders, looking as serious as she could. At this point it was easy to tell that she was acting, ready to either tell a story or tell a stupid joke about something related to the situation. Her eyes locked with Kasha's before she slid to her side, hugging her with one arm and stretching the other in the air.
"You know what happened the last time I trusted someone with scales, Kasha? I let myself get carried by those sweet words, by those seductive movements and by his perfect eyes... The next thing I knew is that I was laying on the bed with my legs... Yeah, you know what goes next. A few more years and we ended up married to that precious man."
She did a brief pause to poke Kasha's nose softly, smiling happily, before continuing.
"Don't trust 'em girl. Elves are way better, like, way better. More experience and softer skins. And trust me, softer skins make a big difference"

"If you want to use another boat as as bait though, I am fine with that as well." he replied to the elf.
Sylivar burst out in laughter at the conversation shared between Kasha and Feliara. After requiring several moments to compose himself, he cuts a sly glance towards Feliara. "I can confirm those statements."
Returning to the topic at hand, his brow furrows as he considers the problem. "Well, if it was eating sailors willy-nilly, the Waterdeep people would've done something about it. I guess we don't have too much to fear. Bruvir, go all big and all - launch the thing as far as you can. I'll tie it to a rope. Let's go fishing for dragons," he maniacally grins. Never in his few hundred years did he expect to do something along the lines of this.

"What was that??" Bruvir asked Kasha, vaguely hearing her mumble something under her breath

"Alright then. Let's get this blasted Dragon business over with then so we can get out treasure." Bruvir commented before grabbing one of his hammers and whispering a few words in Giant. A few moments later he experienced three rather pronounced bursts of "growth", more than tripling his size to tower close to 15ft tall once again. Holding the huge cut of meat easily in one hand, Bruvir winded up to to throw like a Major League pitcher and launched the meat as far as he could into the bay. It sailed for a while before landing with a loud "PLOP" into the water. Not bad, he thought to himself pleased with the result.

"I like being a pigeon in the park! I eat lots of bread and popcorn. Yum!" she tunes out. Too much talking. Too much thinking.

So the question is, how do we get the attention of a dragon that's underwater.

One of the sailors pointed to a meat shop, just a block away. The sign had a board and a cleaver.
Tromping over, Bruvir would survey their wares and order the largest piece of meat they had available (assuming he could afford it).

Done. It's a big ass side of beef. Enough to feed a family of eight.
