This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Osmord, you do 7 damage to the goblin, and you, Emporious, do 11 damage. The goblin has 20 health left. The confidence in its eyes fade slightly but it does not give up. It stares at Emporious, anger in its eyes. It attacks! 18 It hurls itself at Emporious, and quickly bites his left arm, doing 5 damage.
OOC: HongryGoblinBoi: I think if we are to continue we need to understand some things. You ignored our rolls so are you rolling our attacks for us? If so how did Emporious do 11 damage with a spell that can do 1d10 damage? What happened to Emporious shield reaction? and thus far we appear to have done 18 damage meaning we are fighting a homebrew goblin with nearly 30 HP and apparently an AC of 7 or lower, which is fine but just a little odd. Also if my chill touch damaged the gobo he should have attacked Emporious with disadvantage....anything to add Emporious?
(OCC: No that about sums it up. Does kind of bring me back around to my original question though. Which, if I'm right, is not very long and that is completely okay. I only want to know so I can provide advice vs being snarky, which is kind of my go too. I'm here because I really wanted to play through this character class and an artifact heavy adventure seemed like the perfect fit. If the adventure is a little rough I don't mind but knowing a little about what to expect will affect my play style. No offense meant if I'm completely off base here it's just that I myself have been playing...well lets just say it's been off and on for a looooooong time and I feel like Dream hobbit might be another vet so let our experience guide you a bit.
.*edit* just to be clear I'm not expecting perfection or trying to be overly critical. Just trying to find out where and what some of our ground rules are.)
