Daerthe will take the coins and the makeshift flask, leaving the rest as the weapon and shield are of no use to her. With that done she will rejoin the others. "This place would make a good home if not for the work of having to clear out the corpses and the bats..."
When Sphyboe asks Snigbat about the weapons, she says, “Hark took weapons from villagers of Nightstone. Guards had spears and shields. Other folk had daggers and clubs. You take these, yes? Give back to people of Nightstone. Another act of friendship, yes?”

The Sorcerer Messenger seems displeased at the mention of returning the weapons and shields to the dwellers of Nightstone. She's been working with the Harpers for a while, but they've never decided to equip the messenger/spy with fine weapons or any kind of armor for protection. Suddenly, she realizes something that might be beneficial to everyone, most importantly it will let her to possess at least one of these weapons or shields.
"We, the people of Nightstone accept your gift and your message of friendship will be delivered to the Nandars, Boss Snigbat."
Sphyboe will take a Spear and a Club from the pile of weapons, then she'll attempt to get out of the place to examine and test the weapons' efficiency. It must be noted that she doesn't seem interested in the tools, potion or shields; she already has two daggers so she will leave it to the party.
Unless there is anything anyone wants to do or say in the cave, you all head back to the main cavern, around the stalagmites and mud pool, and out into the afternoon light. Sphyboe is struggling a little, trying to carry 9 spears, 5 shields, 5 clubs, and 2 daggers (unless she has asked anyone to help). A light rain has started, but once you get into the trees, you are fairly well protected against it. Fortunately, it is only about a ten minute walk back to Nightstone.
(Anything you want to do or say along the way? Oh, also, who took the thieves' tools and healing potion?)
Helena would walk in silence for a few minutes, but then she would speak to the group. "I know we have all found bits and pieces here and there as we have worked together." She glances to each member of the group. "Some coins, some weapons, other odds and ends..." She pauses as she makes sure she has everyone's attention. "I want us to share things among the entire group, no one hording anything they found for their own. We worked well together, but it took us all to do what we have done, so we should all share equally in whatever treasures we have found." She makes sure everyone has heard her fully, then nods once. "I cannot force this though, so just wanted my view on it out in the open."
Bramble would have definitely volunteered to carry away some of the contraband to return it to Nightstone.
(Since Bramble was a bear almost the entire time he was in the cave, I’m not sure he would have known about any items retrieved before the spears and shields.)
Daerthe moves to take the theives tools to see if they could replace the extremely worn one she had been using before. If no one else shows any interest she will keep them. "Mine were damaged so if these are not claimed I can make use of them. "
"You're right, Helena. I did find a treasure chest filled with gold and platinum pieces and I'm not willing to share it with the group"- Sphyboe declares while attempting to maintain a straight face. Although she seems relieved when Bramble has offered to carry a portion of the burden, she's actually exhausted after the skirmishes, heroic retreat and the final confrontation with the goblins.
"That was an abandoned cave infested by swarm of Bats, Giant Rats and newly organized Goblins, what do you expect to find there? I found some copper pieces which I would spend for buying copper coils; then a smoking pipe and stuffed animal both of which might belong to the villagers. Don't forget to mention the Spear and Club, I'm keeping these since I already got attached to the weapons."
"As I said I canot force it to happen." Helena says with a shrug. She pulls out a dented jug from her pack. "I did find this... likely worth a bit, even dented as it is..." She sighs and puts it back into her pack. "Let's get back to town."
Essie is also helping carry some of the weapons, having picked them up the second she'd seen how many there were. She's not terribly sure of Sphyboe's strength, and she doesn't mind the heavy lifting herself. In fact, she hardly looks bothered by the bundle of weapons and the like in her arms.
"Oh, I don't mind about the gold. Keep it, if you like," she tells Sphyboe as they walk. Then she looks at Helena and smiles. "But I'll gladly share things if we need. I don't really need much, in the end."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Since nobody requested healing before the trip back to Nightstone, Bramble will focus on the wound he received before he wild shaped. Once back in the sunshine he will weave some magic, drawing upon the surrounding natural energies to heal himself.

(It looks to me like most folks are in good shape: Ryndar and Essie are only 3 hp below full and Daerthe is only down 1. Helena and Sphyboe are at full health. I think that's right.)

It is likely with some relief that you see the front gate of Nightstone. When the guards atop the watchtowers see you they quickly lower the drawbridge. It is hard to believe that in the last 24 hours, you all met on the way to Nightstone where you dealt with goblins, a deceptive survivor, a broken bridge, a band of Zhentarim, massive ogres, and a goblin coup. If you feel tired, there is a reason for it!
Upon entering the village once more, you are greeted by grateful townsfolk who usher you into the Nightstone Inn where the dwarf has been making a hearty stew from food gathered from here and there in the village. As you eat a surprisingly delicious dinner, the families of Nightstone each stop by your table to express their thanks for rescuing them from the goblins.
Destiny Agganor is Nightstone’s tiefling midwife. Her son Grin appears to be in his mid-20s and thanks you for taking care of the horses. (You suspect that they own the house that Essie helped Daerthe break into. You found a healer’s kit, healing potion, and strange amulet with triangle shapes there.)
The human Delfryndel family runs the windmill and includes matriarch Renarra Delfryndel, her grown son Zalf and his wife Elize, and their two teenage children, Darson and Hildy. They are still in shock from the death of Renarra’s eldest son, Olaf who was killed and eaten by the goblins.
Potato and turnip farmers, the Hulvaarn family (human) include Godrick, his wife Prennis, and their three children: 12-year-old Jehanna and 9-year-old twin sons Ellis and Ghalt. Godrick’s father, Nestor died in the giant attack on Nightstone.
Yondra and Sarvin Nesper (age 15 and 11) huddle together, having lost both their parents and an older sister named Sylda. The family were pumpkin and squash farmers. It is unclear what they will do now.
The Osstras are human wheat farmers. The surviving family members include Thelbin Osstra and his husband, Brynn, both in their early 50s, and their good-hearted nephew, Broland (age 23). Brynn lost his elderly mother and younger sister (Broland’s mother) to the goblins.
The Summerhawks are strongheart halflings. Taela Summerhawk, an apothecary, comforts her four young children, Barley, Midge, Nincy, and Dollop, ages 10-3. Taela’s husband, Larlow, was killed in Nightstone when a rock fell on their house. (Given the apothecary connection, you decide that they must own the cottage where Essie found a vial of antitoxin and a pouch of 15 gold under a floorboard.)
Hiram Mystrul is a human priest of Lathander who runs the temple.
Once you are finally left alone, the dwarf sits down and introduces himself as Morak Ur’gray, the owner of Nightstone Inn. “I’m sure you all would appreciate a little peace and quiet. You are more than welcome to sleep in a couple of the rooms upstairs. Is there anything else you need?”

"I think a good night's rest in a bed, without the chance of goblins, or worse, sneaking up on me, will be a great start." Helena says with a smile for the dwarf. She would stay in the common room for a while, but retire to a room upstairs, one without a hole in the floor, when she has a chance.
“Now, it seems that we have the two rooms that weren’t damaged. Each one has two beds. I realize that’s not really enough for you all, but you seem like seasoned adventurers who work together well. I imagine you can figure out what will work for your group. My own room was torn up pretty bad, but I don’t mind finding a spot down here. You all are the heroes of the day, after all!” Morak raises his mug of ale in your general direction and takes a swig. “It seems those goblins even managed to break into my storage chest. I’m glad they left my armor, but I’m afraid they took off with the gold I was going to offer you. Indeed, that seems to be the story all over town. We’re all feeling mighty low that we can’t offer you all much in the way of reward for your trouble.”

"I do not need a bed. I just need a place that is quiet enough to rest." Daerthe said as she pausea and looks as if she is in great pain with what she is about to do. She reaches into their bag and grabs some of the gold. "I do not know if this is yours but one of the goblins we fought had this on them." She hands a bit of the gold to the dwarf bit not all she had found."
The faintest hint of approval flashes across Ryndar's face as he notices the Drow willing giving up her gold. "I'm certainly glad everything turned our relatively well, the state of the town when we arrived did not give us much hope as to the state of those that lived here." Ryndar sigh heavily, the day seeming to catch up with him. "Much like my companion I have no need for a bed, though a few hours of quiet would be much appreciated."
“If it looks to be a rainless night, I wouldn’t mind sleeping in the damaged room upstairs with a view to the skies. My bedroll on the floor would be sufficient.” Bramble says rather tiredly.
”Morak, if you’d prefer me not sleeping there perhaps I could seek permission to sleep in the loft in the stables. I wouldn’t mind checking in on the horses. They’ve been through a lot as well.”
Morak smiles and thanks Daerthe warmly. "I didn't mean for you to be paying me. That's the sad state we find ourselves in. But know that you all are welcome in Nightstone any time and as we get ourselves back together, we'll show you our gratitude more clearly."
Grin Agganor overhears Bramble’s suggestion and says, “I do believe it is raining. But you are welcome to sleep in the stable if you like. I’ve done it myself a time or two when I’ve angered Ma too much to find peace at home.”
(So where are the rest of you going to sleep? I'm wondering if you are finding a corner all by yourself or grouping up in any way. Again, there are two undamaged rooms, the one with the hole in the floor where Kella was hiding, the common room in the inn, or even the temple. Lots of choices. I'm just curious if you are going to show any hint of connection with each other. Such an independent collection of individuals! I don't mean to rush you all to sleep. If anyone had anything else they wanted to talk to anyone about or anything else you wish to do before bed, feel free. By the way, you all are reaching Level 4 in the night!)

The brown bear in the room transforms back into Bramble. He pats himself, seeing if he’s lost anything during the transitions.
”Well.”
He says in s still gruff voice.
”Does anyone need aid?”
His voice becoming clearer, as if the vocal chords are the last to revert.
