The first room you enter is empty. Moving towards the next door, Raadox notices a bell attached to the door about three feet off the ground and the door is damaged around that area where the bell was installed.
Kiori points to the door and talks to Raadox "let me open this one first, my shield should be enough to protect me from any foes behind it." He will then wait for the experts to examine the door and try to open it after they give the all clear.
As Daerryl slowly and carefully tries to pull the bell off, it slips and falls from his hand ringing before he can grab it again. Whoever was listening for the bell probably heard it. Peeking down the hall, you see a ten-foot-wide hall is liberally strewn with sharp caltrops. On the northern wall, passage to the room beyond is partially blocked by a roughly mortared, three-foot-high wall, complete with crenellations.
"How extraordinary polite of you to announce our arrival my dear Daerryl, now we will most likely be given a more than warm welcome. " Selene says smiling warmly to the gnome.
"Perhaps I can cover our advance while Kiori plows a way with his shield through all these nasty spiky things" Selenes continues preparing to use fey magic.
Ready action to use Silent image to create a wall of fire in front of the wall should there be any movement behind it.
As Kiori begins to move forward across the caltrops, you hear rustling from behind the small walls. A pair of goblins lean around the corners, arrows at the ready.
Initiative - 16
(Moving across caltrops is either halfspeed, or a dex save) (Selene, on your turn you can use silent image or something else, you are unable to hold an action outside of initiative)
The goblins shoot a pair of arrows around the corner of their cover before diving back behind them (full cover). You are 20ft away from them across caltrops.
As Selene approaches the door to use her fey magic she reacts to slowly to the new threat and takes a goblin arrow straight to her chest sending her reeling back from the impact and the pain. She almost loses her temper but instead calmly retaliates with fey magic sending the hiding goblins into a swift slumber.
Sleep spell centered behind the cover:17 hp
"Do take...care of them...before they wake up, ...and can one of you gentlemen... please help me with this arrow, ...it´s stuck I´m afraid"" Selene says to the others sitting down by the wall panting.
You are slowly able to move up to where the goblins were stationed. The filth on the floor, stains on the walls, shabby hides, and firepit attest to the years of use this room has seen at the hands of creatures unconcerned with hygiene. On the eastern side of the southern wall is a crudely mortared half-wall, complete with crenellations.

"Great work milady. I'm unable to do much about the arrow, personally, sorry," Raadox says with genuine disappointment. Raadox will move carefully across the caltropped room and once beyond the palisade, he will search the place and the bodies, quietly. He'll first scan for any magical emanations and then look about carefully.
Investigation (+5): 15 <-- assuming help
(at this stage I am not planning to kill the sleeping goblins, others may of course!)
Daerryl will try to quietly open the next door, keeping an eye out for whatever dangers may be present.

"Good idea" Kiori replies to Selene, and starts to walk forward carefully, using his shield as a broom to swipe the caltrops away.
