You know what, I think it does have a dock, I think it might even have people.

Cassandra looks at the chart, squints a bit and says she’s heard of this place.

Cassandra remembers that the port is on Carnisto Island, and is a part of Ottera.

“Aye me Captain”’Cassandra  yells out across the waves.  “It be the port of Carnisto Island,  a part of Ottera.  Methinks it be suitable for our needs.”

Instead of waiting for these guys I'm just going to run towards the first bit of Ocean I see and check if there's a dock

Yes, there's a dock.

We will bring the two ships into the dock near each other, and tie up.  We will keep our prisoners tied up and gagged below for now. 

Cassandra says “shall we go ashore and see what’s what?  Who wants to stay with the ships and keep an eye on our guests?”

she gives each of the sailors we captured 5 gold (total 30 more gold)- and warns them not to tell any tales. “good work lads-  thankye fer your help.  Yer not to talk about anything that happened on this trip- or our guests down below- or ye will never get honest work again, that’s if yer lucky enough not to meet us somewheres.”  She smiles and asks” You sure I can’t convince ye to stay with us?”   When they decline, she says”  Alright then,  and may the Goddess be with ye,  I kept my word.  My quarrel isn’t with you it’s with the crimson scum”

Cassandra says ok all- we will divide the spoils so you have some spending money.  Fer now, each of ye get 100 gold.   Step up and claim it,  then we will figure out how many loyal crew and divide the rest after.

The sailors heartily thank Cassandra and Ceesh, gather their belongings, and head down the dock to the sailor's guild.

Cassandra says”. Right then Captain-  let’s see what this port has to offer.   Methinks we be needin some new crew.  Maybe that guildhall is a place to look? “

She brushes her red hair and puts it up in a ponytail, and polishes her armor and sharpens her strangely curved longsword a bit.  Taking a pouch of gold and her pack, she jauntily heads to the guildhall.  “ye comin Captain?-  yer a smoother talker than me! ” 

You and whoever else that wants to follow you head down the pier to the Carnisto Sailor's Hall, a large wooden building on the end of the pier. You see the sailors from the Temptress talk to the doorman for a bit before being welcomed inside and entering the hall.

Cassandra strolls down the dock and approaches the doorman at the guildhall “Hello there!  me names Cassandra, Captain o the Temptress.  I be interested in joining yer guild and Me and Captain Ceesh of the Skipping Stone are both looking fer crew.   We be new to this port, so appreciate any help ye can provide”

"Welcome, sailors! Please head over to the desk on your left to join the guild, and as I assume you two have ships tied up at the docks here, be sure to register your ships too."

Cassandra says “Thank Ye kindly, good sir, will do!” And she heads inside to the desk.  

At the desk, a clerk asks "What're you here for today? I haven't seen your face before, so I assume ye want to join the guild?"

“Why yes, we would. We would also like to register our ships.”

"Alright, membership is a one-time fee of 10 GP per captain, and docking at the port is 7 GP per week, first day is free for members, so that'll be 16 from both of you."

Cassandra pays her fees for herself and the Temptress, and asks “ Well we be honored to be joining ye.  what do we get as members?”

"You wouldn't happen to know anyone that would hire a couple of merchants to run some trade would you? It's just been awhile and we really need some work."

"Well, aside from the discount for docking, ye get access to the Sailor's Club down the hall, some modest lodgings for while you stay, and if you happen to ever need some minor repairs, we have a team of shipwrights here who'll be glad to patch you up, free of charge. We're very fortunate that the government recognizes the importance of trade on this island and funds all this. There will surely be several sailors in the Club who are willing to sign on with you., if you're looking for a crew.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but for the port records, what merchandise or passengers were you carrying when you docked here? Since the government pays for all this, they insist that a strict list of all wares entering the port be kept, to avoid smuggling and whatnot."
