A lizardman with a fishing pole over his shoulder comes running up the docks and jumps on board one of the ships. He has a pack and a few weapons on him.  "Sorry for barging in, but I've made a few people upset over making a bad deal on a fish. Mind if I stick around? I promise to pull my weight and can even contribute to the food stores? My name is Tuna." He says all this in a rush and ends with a big toothy grin.

 Ok. Harold will sit on the crows nest and notify you of incoming objects. He is unable to distinguish friend from foe, however.

 OOC-  Well everything is a foe fer us- except new volunteer crew, apparently.   :). Welcome aboard Grakus/ Tuna.   Do me a favor and Scroll up in the chat a little and get some of the backstory of the campaign.  Cassandra (my character) will introduce it to you the same way.

Didn't we find a large number of Oil flasks in the hold of one of the ships?  Maybe we can come up with some creative uses for them.  None of you have seen me use this spell yet. 

Ari claps his hands and casts "create bonfire" above the ocean surf, 30 feet from the vessel.  The large burst of flame flares into life and quickly sizzles out as it's overcome by saltwater.  

Now imagine if an enemy ship was covered in oil first. 

Thiago snoops around the both ships during his free time, and looks for a spyglass.

 Which ship are you on? (and yes, the Stone has 350 flasks of oil for refilling lanterns)

 Well then, there's no weapons on the Temptress, so you can just help tidy up the hold from its previous owners.

 The bookshelf has quite the assortment in it. It has all sorts of books on ancient battles, martial masters, arcane secrets, and a good bit of self-help books. Would you like to read up on a certain topic?
