"Alenka... Mirabel... Sorva..." Sezsu inclines his head to each in greeting. "Are you...sisters? I beg your pardon, it's just that you share similar features and finding such a cadre so full of life (and running a business together, no less!) seems rather rare. So I could only assume..." He trails off briefly. "But yes! We always pay our way, so have no worries. We're just looking for a drink to settle ourselves after a rough start to the day, as Ed said. And perhaps some information. Or at least directions."
Sezsu pulls up a chair from a nearby table and straddles it, facing the women, and tosses his bangs out of his face. "Where are my manners?" he laughs. "I'm Sezsu. Our steadfast-but-silent companions are Alessandra and Zied." Looking up to the bartender, he raises his eyebrows and four fingers, hoping the signal would be clear enough that he wouldn't have to break his conversational stride.
Lowering his voice so that it doesn't travel beyond the group, he continues. "We're looking for Madam Eva." He pauses a moment to gauge their reactions. "We were told she has information that may help us in our journey. We've heard of the Tser Pool west of here. Is that where she can be found? Is it along a road or do we need directions?"
The rest of the party can tell Sezsu has other questions but he wants to see how this goes before continuing.

With the prices being surprisingly reasonable and the women ... not openly aggressive at least, Alessa quietly sat at the nearest table waiting for the collective order and joined the conversation. "What Sezsu meant to say, we are accidental visitors of the village, not entirely sure how we get here and would very much like to return to our lands." She only clarified this moment, though. There were enough questions hanging in the air and before saying anything else she would rather too hear the answers.

Zied notices that the sleeping man is also Vistani. He is unshaven and unkempt. He snores gently, a puddle of drool collecting by his arm. There is a coin purse attached to his belt.
Sezsu: "Are you...sisters? [introductions]"
All three women snort with laughter. "Yes, yes, we were grown in pumpkin patch and plucked together," says Mirabel. "Clearly I was allowed to ripen on the vine. These two were taken too early."
"That's why you have so many wrinkles," Sorvia retorts. Mirabel glares.
Alenka frowns. "We care not what your names are. So long as you have coin."
Sezsu: "We're looking for Madam Eva."
"Crone," hisses Alenka.
"Churl," sneers Mirabel
"Ronyon," grunts Sorvia. "You waste your time. She is pauper masquerading as fortune-teller who collects coppers from unwary fools in exchange for useless tales."
"A complete hack," agrees Alenka with a scowl.
"Worthless", echoes Mirabel.
"But if you really want to know," Mirabel continues, leaning forward and whispering, "we will tell you. It is your money to waste, after all. But first you must do something for us." All three women exchange a look, and smile. "Shake down Radu over there at the bar. Collect the five gold coins he owes us for his wine drinking."
"Alenka, Mirabel, Sorva."Ed nods his head to each, a wink at Mirabel after her joke.
"Beautiful names for beautiful ladies. Allow me to attend to your freeloading friend..." Ed casually strolls over to the figure that the sisters pointed out. He slams a fist down on the table next to the sleeping man's head to startle him into wakefulness. Ed stands tall and looms over the hunched man, speaking in a cheery tone, almost as though commenting on how pleasant the weather has been on a sunny day. "Good day to you sir! I understand that your tab is due. It is past time to settle it with these fine ladies."
One copper a drink and was owning them five gold?! Either the man was able to drink a few buckets in one sitting or the "ladies" here were much more patient than they looked and allowed him to accumulate such a tab. Alessa watched Ed preparing to back up him with some fire if needed - as drained as she was, she could still do this little.
Zied doesn't see any reason to disbelieve Alenka, MIrabel, and Sorvia. They are either telling the truth, or else are expert liars. He does, however, pick up a certain sense of worry or anxiety in them.
When Ed slams his fist onto the table, Radu jumps up with a start, knocking over his empty wine glass. He reaches for it instinctively and, despite being jolted awake, experiences a clear moment of disappointment to find it devoid of the red stuff. "What, whaaat?" he asks irritably. "Fine! I was going to pay them anyway, after lunch!" He reaches into his pocket and counts out several gold pieces, tossing them onto the bar in Ed's general direction. "Now if you excuse me, good sir, I have to take piss!" He slides off of his seat and walks out the front door.
Alenka accepts the coins wordlessly and stuffs them into her skirt pocket. The sisters again glance between themselves. Alenka clears her throat. "This time of year, with weather getting colder, you will probably find Eva at Tser Pool. That is where her kind like to settle. Like mold growing on cheese. It is off road to the west. About one day's journey. Big sign, can't miss it. I do not suggest. Better to stay here and enjoy wine and soup. Our food is best in village, hey sisters?"
"Hey." echo Mirabel and Sorvia glumly, barely lifting their cups.
(Guess I didn't need that insight check to see how they felt about Madam Eva!)
Sezsu inconspicuously removes his hand from the hilt of his shortsword at the sight of Ed's graceful handling of the matter. Turning back to the sisters, he chuckles and says, "I'm certain it is!"
He bites his lip in thought for a moment. "Your information's much appreciated. We're not too interested in fortunes and readings. See, some of her kind were the ones what brought us here and I've got the sneaking suspicion they're our ticket back. We're... without our usual trappings or we'd happily stay and feast on your delicious soup. As things are now, we may need to look for work if our stay extends much further than it has." An idea occurs to him. "Speaking of... You don't have any other Radus who need to be reminded to pay up or any other odd jobs you'd be willing to provide compensation for, do you? We were also hoping to catch up with... 'Granny'...? Any chance you know where we can find her?"
Leaning back a bit, he scans each of their faces again before deciding to just ask. "We've also heard the name 'Tatyana' mentioned but we haven't met anyone by that name yet. Do you know where we can find her as well?"
If by this time the wine was brought to the table (or at least placed on the counter by the indifferent bartender?) Alessa would pretend to concentrate on the drink, hiding some frown. Sezsu revealed... everything to the sisters. She glanced at Sezsu above the wineglass and lowered her eyes again. No, it was a bad thought, wrong. Nothing he said was a secret. And they might learn something, already did even. "Off-road?" Ismark begged them to never leave the main roads but if this is where they have to go... It's good they got weapons. Alessa was studying the sisters hoping it was not too obvious. With all that confusion with the names... She might need at some point to change her look.
Ed wanders back to the group, having seen the debt paid and with nought but a polite word he wears a joyful smile across his face. "A fair trade if ever there was. Thank you for the information Alenka. I'd most certainly enjoy a taste of your food, more so if it came with the pleasure of your company, Sezsu's questions are but a few of the things that we are seeking answers for as we find our way in these parts." Ed gestures for four meals, hoping their coffers can accommodate weighing the reasonable price of the wine, aagainst the extent of the bill that Radu had established.
Ed takes a set, kicking back on the chair and relaxing himself, "I would be keen to learn how the town feels about Father Donavich, and the plight of his son. Also, as Sezsu rightly says our attire is less than suitable for much of a journey, are there places here - other than Bildrath's - where we might be able to outfit ourselves a little better. Possibly in trade for a little labour? Oh, and Ismark told us of an odd ghostly procession each evening. I missed the sight myself, caught in deep slumber, is it something the whole town so readily accepts?"
Sorvia holds out a hand. “Wine is one copper. Soup is same. You pay now, yes? For all four? Eight coppers.”
Ed: [Father Donavich]
The women grow tense. Mirabel places a hand to her chest. Alenka clasps her neck. Sorvia touches her forehead. “We would not go to that church in best of times,” Mirabel whispers. “Now, now one does. His son has turned. He is monster.”
Ed: [equipment]
Alenka merely chuckles. “You talk like things grow from ground like potato. Ha! No. In Barovia we learn to make due with what we can scavenge.”
Ed: [Ismark]
All three women cackle. Sorvia grins cruelly. “Oh, Ismark the Lesser! Is pale imitation of father. He will never amount to much. Village is doomed if he is to lead.”
Alessa looks expectantly at the bartender, but he only continues to stare blankly, still cleaning cups. She realizes that unless she puts forth a copper piece, she will receive no service.
The women turn to Sezsu. "You ask too many questions."
Zied does not get the impression the women were trying to extort Radu.

"Three sisters" - for Alessa it was a worrisome number. The women actually could be just innocent three sisters and nothing more but, again, here, in that strange lands, anything looked ominous and suspicious. If her suspicions were correct, though... It would be better to stay very polite. "Thank you,"Alessa meant their "welcome to Barovia". The women jested of course, but she answered honestly. "We have not been here for long, and though hope to leave, wanted to learn what we can to feel less lost. With prices so high - I mean Bildrath or Granny, though her pies are worth every penny it is surprising people can afford all of these. You seemed like you know everyone and everything here and willing to talk to strangers as well. How do people manage the life here?"
Ed happily fishes out the smallest of their coins (1ep) and places it down in Sorvia's palm. "Of course we pay now. In hard times we must all take actions to help each other. I fear that we will have to acquire suitable garments on our travels."
Sipping some of the wine, "I did not know Koylan to compare. I think Ismark has some mettle inside of him though, he has faced hard times and he stood his ground when foul creatures made to assault his home this day. Maybe your support would help the village more than your condemnation of the man."
"The church will always be a bastion to those that need it, and will be there for you should you ever change your mind. Though your words about Doru do muddy my mind. His father is in a most difficult position, and I feel there is no good answer for him."
Mirabel squints her eyes at Alessa. "Your perception is wrong." She turns away stiffly, her attention on her cup.
They also grow colder toward Ed, and toward Zied. "Your thoughts mean nothing," says Alenka, "and you know nothing of our village. As for Donavich, answer is very clear. He should kill the boy, except he is too weak to do so. So, we all suffer for his weakness."
Outside, Zied discovers that Radu has utterly vanished.
"Do you any of you have children? I do not so I cannot imagine his turmoil. It is easy to say what it best when you have no consequences, what if it was one of your sisters instead? I spoke to the man, I told him to his face that his son was feared by you all and he is pained that his flock suffer. I have looked into the eyes of a man who is holding on to the last threads of his hope. It is not weakness that stays his hand, it is strength." Feeling that these three women are each set in their ways, and that the cordiality of his initial help is now wearing thin, he tries to regain some of their good graces, "Your company and refreshment have been most memorable. I am happy that I could assist you, we will take our leave and bid you each a good day."
Finishing his soup and wine, he bows politely to each lady, another wink at Mirabel as he does, and then ushers the group back out of the tavern. "Lets not find ourselves arguing with everyone who owns a roof in this village. That conversation had no wins for us. Where to next then?"
Interesting... The sisters seemed to dislike them all equally. Was it Granny's name? No, Ed never mentioned her... Maybe they were too polite. Even Sezsu was kind of cordial in his own way, and if women saw good manners as an offence for whatever reason, that could be it. A pity. Still, they did not try to get rid of the party and offered the food for more than a reasonable price. And confirmed Madam Eva's location. Good enough. Alessa shrugged. "True, we do not know anything. Hence, the questions. Thanks for the food. We will be on our way then." She joined Ed at the exit. "Straight to the Vistani camp?" The sisters already knew where the party was heading and there was no need to keep it secret. "West and off-road till we see the sign pointing to Tser Pool. Should not be that hard."
Sezsu just raises an eyebrow at the back-and-forth, each party certain they held the truth of the matter. The sisters seem set in their ways but he'd never bet against Ed's hard-headedness...er...resolve.
He quickly upends his soup bowl into his mouth and following the knight back outside.
"There was only one among us who was arguing," he responds with a wink. "But you're right. I don't think we were getting anywhere with them." Looking to Alessa he nods. "I think you're right, too. Look at us, being right all the time!" He laughs to himself. "The Tser Pool seems like the most logical next step. It's only a day's journey rather than three, as the next town would be. Plus, I don't really see a reason to go as far as the other towns if we're just trying to find Madam Eva and get back home..."
"Alenka... Mirabel... Sorva..." Sezsu inclines his head to each in greeting. "Are you...sisters? I beg your pardon, it's just that you share similar features and finding such a cadre so full of life (and running a business together, no less!) seems rather rare. So I could only assume..."
