The magical energies explode forth from Merah and impact the Orc with enough for to shove it back through the doorway a bit.
The tentacle shakes violently then burrows into the ground leaving disturbed earth where it once stood. A moment later, it launches out in front of the retreating orc who only just avoids its slam. The orc screams in distress!
The orc raises a hand up at the tentacle, praying for some sort of saving grace from being strangled or yanked apart by its might.
Ricster's arrow obliges this unheard request, sliding right through that hand into its pleading maw like a thunderbolt from the heavens.
Mechanics:
D&D Beyond on Rogues using Sneak attack, "...you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe’s distraction...The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon...You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it..."
In this instance, the tentacle definitely counts as another enemy of the target, thus sneak damage would apply
The final orc sees the last of the nearby orcs fall and charges at Merah, the only target it could even hope to close distance on.

"Oh, not today, thanks," Merah mutters as she sees the last orc charge toward her. A flick of her wrist sends the tentacle directly in front of the orc, hoping to scare it off with the attack. Just to follow up and cover all her bases, she sends another eldritch blast its way, too.
Attack: 12 Damage: 1
Bonus Action: Tentacles of the Deep Attack: 7 Damage: 5
The orc dodged the eldritch blast, narrowly avoiding its explosive might. It's luck ran out a moment later, however, as the tentacle once again wriggled violently before disappearing and then reappearing nearby the orc.
It reeled back with all the malice of a being summoned to destroy life and batted the orc into the nearby wall. The orc's body bounced off the crumbling surface and rolled across the ground before coming to a halt face down.
Val moves up as close as he can to the orc, swinging at the air in front of him with all the vigor befitting his rage. On one of the swings, however, his blade's tip scrapes the stone wall, and drops a small clump of crumbling wall one his head.
(You can only move 15 feet per turn and -1 health for the critical fail)
(When Val moves, and that turn ends, you all hear the group of reinforcements coming from the South. They haven't appeared yet, but you know what way they're coming from.)
Ric attempts to fire his bow at the Orc yet the complicated grouping of Val, the tentacle and the orc together throws his aim off. The arrow does land near it, but doesn't hit.
The third Orc stands for its final assault. Its bleeding face covered its sight in red. Nearly blind, the creature raised its Greataxe above its head and started to wail. A much higher pitch than a war cry, its voice cracked and its last moment began.

Merah flings her hand out again, whispering, "Please, please hit this time," and casts eldritch blast. Then, after seeing the dark blue blast of fire shoot out of her hand, she crooks her fingers and sends the tentacle attacking the orc again.
"Maybe we should think about retreatin'?" she calls towards her companions, looking almost worriedly at the sounds of reinforcements coming.
Attack: 17 Damage: 8
Bonus Action: Tentacle of the Deeps Attack: 9 Damage: 7
The dark blue fire unleashed by Merah erupted forth passed Val and exploded on the Orc's chest, igniting everything above its waist in a cobalt hued inferno.
Merah's tentacle then slammed into the ground, sending the near weightless body of white into the winds.

You all know their reinforcements are going to arrive very soon, what do you do?
Val turns to the others, scanning and checking them for injuries. 'Sometimes retreat is the better part of valor, I can try to hold them off and buy you all some time to get away'
Merah grimaces, holding a hand to her side where she'd been hit earlier. "Don't be dumb," she tells Val. "We can all just run now. Ya stickin' round solo is askin' to die." She starts moving back around to the hole in the wall where they'd come in through. "We can get away and plan somethin' better and come back when we've got somethin'."
As you all made your way towards the exit, two armored orcs ran across the field where the 1st Orc died. Behind them, a hulking fleshy giant covered in mud caked gore and equipped with a brutal wooden club penetrated by rusted steel spikes, dragged a half eaten body behind its slothful yet massive gate. Even with its half concerned pace, it covered the same ground as the orcs.
They don't appear to have noticed your retreat.

Val successfully slays the orc that had wounded him so gravely. With a heavy blade fall, the orc is cleaved and falls dead.
Screaming in fear, the orc squaring off against the tentacle hurls its weapon at Merah, hoping the magical beast disappears if she falls.
