So they have more meat on their bones, yes? And a larger abdominal cavity, yes? Excellent =) That means more options of a culinary sort.....
Still, the same holds true for dire rats, too....So what separates the were rat from dire rats and normal mundane rats... There has to be.... o lycanthropy perhaps? This is gonna be fun...
Hotheris looks at his new companions with a big grin....
Toblen nodded quietly in contemplation, having no knowledge of wererats beyond their existence. He does mention that you might get a better sense of which direction you'd need to head at noon with a map. Much quicker this time, he rushed to the back and returned with a rolled up cloth. He unfurled it on an open table and those who look would see an accurate drawing of a town unaffected by the storm's wrath...
Circle: Stonehill Inn
"You can see where we are, and where you must head from here. If there's anything else I can do, please let me know." Toblen proudly declared over his map.
Listening to the conversation and thinking the endeavor may yield a few coins for him, Ricster stands up and approach the group. "Er... I heard you want to deal with Wererats?... Do you need another sword for that?"
The more the merrier, I say. Welcome, Fellow Traveller, I'm thinking the paths are treacherous today. So many options for spells, I don't know what to pick. =(
"I'm afraid this is the only map I have, and there are many Northern roads from Phandalin. The Triboar Trail itself runs North then East through Conyberry, and I figured more information would be better." Toblen responded to Anu. He continued, "I would suggest bringing something to keep dry and warm, as the storm has brought floods and the mountain breathes frost." he finished, his smile dimming slightly for a moment.
"Well, she's... friendly, ain't she?" Merah chuckles, watching Anu head off. Then she looks to the newcomer, sizing him up before flashing him a grin. "Wouldn't mind having another sword along, as these two seem to be focused more on magic. The more bodies 'tween me and death, the better."
Drat, she's leaving? And I wanted to ... Hotheris heaves a sigh, watching her go
There's a time and place for magic. Routine housekeeping and laundry and that sort of thing is best done with 2 hands and healthy dose of elbow grease. Are you guys heading for bed, too, or are you staying up for a while?
Merah sticks a hand out toward the new guy. "Name's Merah, by the way. Figure we might as well learn names if we're gonna fight together."
Then she waves at Hotheris almost absentmindedly. "I'm gonna stick around down here for a bit. Fire's nice and warm, and after the past couple days I've had, I'll take it."
Toblen looked about as if there were more to be said, yet he did not say more. Instead, he joined the relaxed atmosphere and seated himself upon a wooden barstool.
After a few moments, Toblen rose and declared, "If you are all set on it, I'll be sure to let other adventurers know where you're headed in the hopes that they'll lend some assistance. After all, you aren't the first travelers passing through in search of gold, and certainly won't be the last."
Merah leans back in her chair and flashes a bright grin at Toblen. "That sounds great, mate. Thanks." She slams the rest of her drink back before rising. There's a little flourish as she swings her coat back on, smoothing it out. There are quite a few patches in the coat, but it looks well-loved. She winks at the other two adventurers she'd chatted with. "I'll see you back down here in the morning - we can head out after we grab a bite to eat."
As she heads toward the inn's rooms, she pats Toblen's shoulder as she passes him. "You got anything else we need to know about these were-rats or whatever else we're walking into, let me know in the morning? I need some shuteye."
Kreios approaches everyone. he looks to be a young human, probably in his late teens or early twenties, with blue eyes, a kind yet nervous expression, and black hair. he is wearing heavy and protective looking chain mail armor, has a shield on his back, and does not apear to be carrying any weapons.
"s-sorry, w-what going on? I just got here..." Kreios asks, sounding awkward and nervous.
Toblen watched the two head off with a grin and answered the young man simply, "Adventure! Hello and Welcome to the Stonehill Inn. I'm Toblen Stonehill and we have two rooms for rent, a bed for the night costs 5 silver pieces and a meal costs 1. As of right now, there's a few bold individuals set to walk the triboar trail in the morning. There's a map of town over there that will show you the way if you'd like to join them." He finished, pointing to a small unrolled piece of cloth covering a wooden table nearby.
Adventure? the Triboar Trail? this seems dangerous to say the least. but the probably need a healer... and you never know... maybe there will be a chance to share the peace of Eldath, Kreios thinks
"Um, yes. I'll take a room, and some food. m-may I ask what your serving?" Kreios says to Toblen, before walking to the other adventurers. "I hear you going on an adventure to the Triboar Trail. I am adept at healing, and may be of use to you as part of the party."

Anu gives Merah a glance and once over, examining her equipment and build. "I am Anu. I'll be leaving to Conyberry come high noon."
She then looks to Hotheris. "A wererat is bigger than a rat."

Anu just stares down at the map. "You could have just told us to head up the northern road... You have anything of a larger scope of the land?"
Listening to the conversation and thinking the endeavor may yield a few coins for him, Ricster stands up and approach the group. "Er... I heard you want to deal with Wererats?... Do you need another sword for that?"

"Magic." She simply answers as she stands, finishing her meal. "Goodnight." She turns up to the stairs and up to her room to sleep, locking the door.

Hello, my name is Hotheris. Join us, please. I'm a new wizard, still a little damp behind my ears if you take my meaning. How about you guys?
Hotheris sits down at the fire...

This is going to be fun =) Lots of work to do to put everything back into order! Good night, Master Stonehill.
With that Hotheris moseys off to bed.

I totally advise riding an animated castle.
