Belkas looks at the open tower door. "Could be goblins again or something more terrible. I wonder what that woman with the winged snake has been up to."
Belkas moves up against the tower by the door and crouches inside an illusionary rock, waiting for more information from his companions.
Both Worm and Zyllith peek inside the tower, and inside, on the lower level, you see a lone goblin holed up. She’s sitting on the floor, holding what looks like a piece of jewelry in her hands and apparently talking to herself in her native goblin language.
Zyllith decides to slip inside, sneaking up behind the goblin and putting the tip of her rapier against the goblin's back as a clear warning while she greets her in a friendly tone, "'ello thar' luv, what'cha got thar?"
Startled by Zyllith's sudden presence, the goblins flinches and shies away, Grasping what appears to be a locket of some kind, she begins yabbering with an uneasy tone in your native tongue. She shows now signs of aggression, though, just fear.
"Sorry thar', luv, cannae' help but bein' careful all thin's considered, but ye'll be a'rioght if ye dun give me a need ta' poke ye'. So whot say we calm down a bite an' 'ave ourselves what luv'ly conversation, savvy? Best ta' introduce ourselves, ya? I'm Zyllith, whot's yer name, luv? An' while yer at it, whot friends of yers, if any, are nearby?" Zyllith continues speaking in a surprisingly friendly tone despite keeping her blade at the ready the entire time, enough to make sure the goblin knows what position she's in while still trying to encourage her to cooperate peacefully.
The goblin seems to calm down as Zyllith quiets down and speaks in a friendly tone. She answers, "I Gwerk. Have pretty locket... no want other goblins to take if from me. 'Fraid 'dey will steals from me."
You can see that the silver locket is shaped like a fish and contains a painted portrait of a rosy-cheeked male halfling.
"Aye, luv'ly ta' meet ya Gwerk. Yer rioght ta' worry 'bout other gobbies flinch'in yer wee shiny thar'. But tha' said, ye' did flinch it yerself from whot' townsfolk it dun belong ta' 'ere. We both know tha' locket's not yer's, but ah 'preciate tha' work ya put in ta' find it and dun wanna lose yer loot. How's 'bout we barter then, luv? Ah'd be willing ta swap it fer a peice o' gold. No' ta' mention tha' fact we'd be doin' ya' a favor by no' killin' ye fer pillagin' tha town." Zyllith continues her friendly conversation with the goblin girl, seeing that there's no need for bloodshed as she continues her attempt to resolve the matter with a peaceful solution.
Gwerk listens to Zyllith with a skeptical eye, and responds to her offer.
"You give Gwerk five gold coin for necklace. See, pretty silver. One not enough."
Zyllith can see that in addition to being an obvious sentimental object for whoever owns it, should they still be alive, the quality of the silver alone easily makes it worth much more than 5 gp.
Seeing as there has been no screaming coming out of the tower, Belkas lets his illusion drop and walks over to Osmord.
"I am worried about what the woman with the flying snake is doing. Do you think Worm could fly by and check? Or would it be too dangerous for him? I have no idea how fast her little winged reptile is."
"Aye, yer right, one gold's nae' enough. But it'd would'nae be fun if'n tha' baterin' ended ta' quick-like. Ah'll offer ye three gold bits then!" While 5 gold was certainly a prince she was willing to pay for, Zyllith couldn't resist an opportunity to haggle. That was half the fun of any true transaction after all. With her charming smile and a wink of her golden eyes, she held up three fingers dramatically as she made her counter offer.
Vernon remains outside, mulling over this magic and trying to figure out what the rest of it might do. "If this one makes me tougher, are the others flashy? Or are the others calming, and this one is tied to the light? But it was more fiber than steel..."
Gwerk pauses to consider Zyllit’s counter offer. She requests that she actually show her the three gold coins, and assuming that Zyllith complies and produces a trio of nice, shiny gold pieces, the goblin quickly hands over the locket and trades it for the coins.
"HAHA! Yer rioght ta' wan' ta' see tha' goods before'and." Zyllith said as she slapped three gold coins in front of the goblin with a dexterous flourish, after all if you're not having fun haggling, why bother at all? "I like yer gib an' style, luv. Quite tha' smart goblin ye' are." With a smile and satisfaction of a good barter, Zyllith accepted the locket graciously. "So then, what ye' plan ta' do next, Gwerk? As ye' can see, we're goin' about tryin' ta secure tha town propa'. Got tha' bridge up now so crossing out of 'ere won' be easy. Would'nae want ye getting poked by tha' wrong guard tryin' ta protect tha' walls." Zyllith maintained a friendly demeanor as she continued to speak with Gwerk. Last thing she wanted was for this goblin to get killed when she'd spent so much effort on a peaceful resolution.
Arisa says “ if there’s nothing else in this tower let’s keep moving. Gwerk- If you behave and stay with us, we will let you leave the village when we do, in a little while. Right now as Zyllith said, the bridge is up and so you have no way home- and the guards will shoot you with arrows when they see you. You are safer with us.” We start continuing on the route to the stables, checking any other houses or towers along the way, and waiting for the report from Worm/Osmord.”
”Vernon- I may be able to help you with your magical questions, Magic is a bit of a specialty for me” she smiles.
The two guards who we’re with you left to explore the north side of the village. Meanwhile, Worm sees that Kella is out in the square, just standing in the sunshine. She seems to be looking towards the gate every once in awhile, but doing nothing out of the ordinary.
Gwerk reluctantly agrees to join you, as long as you promise to keep her safe and let her go as soon as possible.
As you begin making your way to the stable, you suddenly hear the noise of goblin yells and shrieks coming from inside the windmill.
To Arisa: "If I say one thing, it affects the person I touch. If I say another, it affects me. The dream only had the second version. Are these different..." (hears Goblin screams) "Were the spiders real? Something's happening at the windmill!" Vernon will rush off to try to save the machinery.

Arisa, pleased with the peaceful resolution, says a few words to encourage the goblin to accept the offer of gold.
Seeing that the matter is well in hand, Osmord will ask worm to continue to search the tower for any other oddities that might be worth a look.

Osmord considers Belkas' request and gives a nod.
"Of course friend Belkas, worm will take a look at her. Give me a moment."
Osmord take a stroll over toward the tavern before linking with worm and sending her in to spy on the woman.
