A man is escorted in by guards blind folded and completely bound he looks down to the floor as he's forced to his knees he has a signet ring but were the symbol of a house should be it is empty 

Wonders if the ring bore a signet at one point and has been removed(filed off, perhaps)? Deberron tries to adjust his position nonchalantly to get a better look at the ring.

 he is like that, very often off in his own world
